I could only surmise that Obama and his cohorts would like us to all rely upon the Washington Post and the NY Times for our information — discarding and blocking all of the other ‘alt-right’ publications and websites that distort the narrative that is being promoted.

What has happened to this blog? I used to come here for informative, well written and generally funny blog postings about finance now all I get are angry rants about ‘libtards’ ‘cucks’ and thin Hawaiian men. I hear where you are coming from but Trump will not do anything he said he would do, and I’ve been reading this blog long enough to know you are smart enough to know better. He’s already called the Clinton’s good people that he doesn’t want to hurt and that he would accept fence portions along the boarder rather than a great, strong, amazing wall. I get it, it’s a protest vote. Blow the country up and what knot. I miss the good old days when fly was surly and blogged about finance and making money. I don’t know what a cuck is and I don’t care!
I blog about finance every god damned day. It’s not my fault that you only seem to be inherently concerned over my blog when I post about things that offend your very sensitive feelings.

Remember after 9/11 and GW Bush said ” “We must speak the truth about terror. Let us never tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories concerning the attacks of September the 11th…” I rejected that statement just as much as Obama’s comments on fake news…The problem of course is governments will often control news to justify actions… Governments don’t always care about the truth (Benghazi,9/11) they care about the narrative. Government controlled entities that monitor what “they deem” to be truth is about as damaging to free speech as it gets.
I’m almost hoping Zuckerberg too goes after “fake news” as to make it easier to bring down The Book of Faces.
