Without question, Lester Holt was in the tank for Clinton. That’s not bias speaking, for I couldn’t give two shits about the victor. But where were the questions about the Clinton Foundation and her ties to the women hating regime of Saudi Arabia , the DNC Leaks, Benghazi, her health records, her foreign policy disasters and of course the emails?

Holt also repeatedly attempted to “fact check” on some of Trump’s positions, such as his claim to have opposed the Iraq War from the beginning. Holt interrupted Trump several times to interject, but rarely succeeded (and may have come across as weak and impotent).
So here was the most transparent and telling moment of the night, like a boss.

His walk of attrition ended when he inserted his tiny tiny pillowy soft hand into Lester’s leathery palm, and then shook Lester’s hand with the grasp of a jellyfish lying on the beach.
Trump then whispered a question into Lester’s ear-

The media will always question how a rich conservative made their money, they will never question how a liberal got their millions.

Once it came out that Lester was a registered Republican he would have looked biased… so he “fixed this” by coming down slightly harder on Trump.
He interrupted Trump more than Hillary as well.
I don’t think this was because he had it out for Trump or was in Clinton’s camp, rather self interest at work. He wants to believe he’s unbiased, and also make sure that as a journalist he’s in demand with as many networks as possible, which otherwise would have been more difficult now that information has come out about him being a registered Republican.
