Samsung Shares Plunge After Regulators and President of Company Ask Customers to ‘Power Down’ Galaxy Note 7s Due to Fire Risk

You cannot have a worse launch than your fucking phone literally catching fire and exploding in the hands of consumers. US regulators and Samsung itself are asking consumers to shut their fucking phones off and turn them shits in, otherwise risk burning your whole village down during recharge.

“We are asking users to power down their Galaxy Note 7s and exchange them as soon as possible,” said Koh Dong-jin, Samsung’s mobile president. “We are expediting replacement devices so that they can be provided through the exchange program as conveniently as possible.”

Consumers can visit Samsung’s service centres to receive rental phones for temporary use. Samsung plans to provide Galaxy Note 7 devices with new batteries in South Korea starting Sept. 19, but schedules for other countries vary.

Earlier this month, Samsun issued a recall for more than 2.5m note 7s.

To date, Samsung has documented 35 fires due to their piece of shit phones. In one case, a family was charging their little Korean phone inside of their jeep. That shit caught fire and burned the fucking car to a cinder.

Tim Cook is reportedly super-duper happy about this shit and has been celebrating by partaking in homosexual speed dating festivals.

Shares of Samsung are down more than 5% in Korean trading.
