He was born in America not a refugee. With respect to the gun, you might be right but why make it easy for him? Only purpose of assault type weapons is to kill large number of people. Want to shoot one at a gun range? Fine. Then require it be kept in gun locker at range.

I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable here. I am not going to argue your points. I am certain some people should not have weapons and you’re only trying to make sense of it all.
But the guns only facilitated the massacre. It isn’t the root. Just because he was born here doesn’t rule out Islamic ties or motives.
He was born to Afgan parents, and was raised with their values. This should be a reminder to us that even if we can properly vet refugees (we often can’t), we can’t vet their young/unborn children.
