This is my favorite comedy of all time. For some reason, it’s always on during Thanksgiving, so I am reminded of it this time of year.
It’s a story about a white russian drinking stoner on a mission to find a woman, teamed up with a violent Vietnman war vet and some other guy, whose journey borders on the obscene with lots of laughs along the way. If this movie doesn’t make you laugh at least 10 times, you’re an idiot…man.

All this guy does is crank out “oscar caliber” … critically acclaimed performances !

If you haven’t yet seen Crazy Heart (he won a well deserved academy award) … do so !!!
There is a scene (later in the movie) where he “confronts” Maggie Gyllenhaal’s character at her door … that is SO real … the look in his eyes … the remorse and regret that is conveyed in that brief unspoken moment is one of the most compelling … most memorable scenes … I have ever seen in a film !
Absolutely heartbreaking …

I laughed 20 times watching that clip alone, and I have seen the movie at least a dozen times.
