The market is bidding up anything China related, anything energy, and also 3-D printing stocks (who the fuck knows?) Like in February of 2008 when the banks stocks were roaring higher, the oil stocks are the show-stoppers now. This, of course, doesn’t mean the sector is good to go and that all is well. If there’s one thing that I’ve learned on Wall Street is that everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.
Your plans are not the plans of others. Nothing is neat and fixed. The doom that you believe will happen, may actually occur–but maybe not on your timeline. That’s why it’s imperative to remain malleable to the changes in the market. Listen to it. Breathe when it exhales and try to absorb its mood.
I’ve made about 7% this week, maybe more. I’ve shifted my risk profile quite a bit to accommodate what the market was bidding up. My position might prove to be a great success. If so, it will prove to be just another notch in the great whipping belt of Le Fly, a man who needs no introduction or night time prayer.
“The Fly” wins all the time, especially when he appears to be heading towards catastrophe. I’ve led a charmed life, one that has enjoyed “uninterrupted splendor”, commingled with heinous acts of offensive styled violence. “The Fly” is a man of the people, a person who toils away on the internets, for the benefit of others. After he toils, he toils some more.
My only request is for a bit of calm normalcy this morning, followed by a regaled afternoon and hedonistic close. That isn’t too much to ask, is it?
Top picks: $SLCA, $GILD, $CNX, $BIDU

TCK
yep, bought TCK yesterday, up huge on it now. This market is starting to remind me of this time back in 2010, when Fly had his biggest win on record cut short because he had too much invested in FTK after it doubled in 2 days.
I thank Le Fly for that pick, as I too was in at $1.72. I too sold way too soon.
What a nice morning to sit back and watch everything melt up
Love the wonderful new look!
The Fly is God!
thanks
DUDLEY at 11est on CNBC could end it all.
The new layout is prettier but the UX sucks. Seriously I need to do extra clicks just to view an article? Comeon …
Also the breadcrumbs at the top are useless. I don’t want more “Uncategorized” articles. I want to go back to the previous page. Make that breadcrumb about the authors and not what the article is categorized as.
chill out. Suggestions will be heard and adjustments made
the blogs drop down menu at the top is cool
what extra clicks? I presume you mean coming straight to fly blog and only seeing preview?
Yes that. That was the one of many killer things this site offers. If I was out for half a day i could come and easily scan the flow and catch up.
ok
