Longer term, should oil continue lower, US production will be stymied and oil from abroad will come flooding back to our shores, further strengthening VLCC and Suzemax day rates.

USO down a little over 4%. Feb oil futures contract down a little over 2%. Any ideas why?
Maybe it just means crude prices will continue downward pressure. With a lot of oil in storage on every old rusting hulk that can hold oil.

Cushing is only half full, but the weekly numbers show more oil going into storage there also. Big one week increase of 3MM barrels on the last report.
