This oil crash will hurt certain sectors, especially DOW components, but damn that cheap gas is going to be nice this holiday season. Producers of anything using oil sure will be happy too. Transportation industries can’t be mad either.
The rails will be fucked. They transport crude and they will lose business to trucking. The only reason they came back from the dead was high gas prices and the shale boom.

Obviously, wondering why oil is crashing is for fools. Resets, if that is what this is are never painless. The rails for one are in trouble if the shale boom is dead.
Imagine any other past boom crashing in a few short months. Only right there for everyone to see in real time. Financial markets are not give and take in a panic. After the panic they can separate the winners from the rubble. This is a classic case of be careful what you wish for.
