Software stocks are clearly insane, led by N–which I happen to be long. There is a fervor grabbing hold of Wall street and I am hoping it will soon grip onto the shares of ANET, another one of my larger positions.

These less traded ETFs are strange. They don’t necessarily go in the direction they ought to. There was a time when natural gas plummeted. And the reverse natural gas ETF plummeted too. The companies that make the ETFs don’t promise anything.
It’s interesting. VIX traders who guessed the market direction entirely wrong today are making good money anyway. And those who guessed correctly are losing their shirts today.
Or maybe it was the regular natural gas ETF that rose even though nat gas plummeted. With less traded ETFs you never know what fool think they’re going to do. People who want to trade ETFs should trade SPY or QQQ or something that everybody & their brother is trading, so the ETF company has some pressure on them to make the ETF work.
Next week should be down, should it not?
Not necessarily, although one would think that, after a huge up week. Next week is Fed week, so if they say something people like…
