Let the market meander around aimlessly for a while. I can go for a break now. I’m a bit drawn down from my 3 hour sleep schedule.
Sellers are making a valiant effort here, showing up in oddball, mega cap stocks. Under the gloss, there is an ugly market lurking in the breach. I couldn’t care less about any of that and know that prices are bound to go higher. In the interim, watch out for wild reversals, especially in the aforementioned chinese burritos. Don’t blame me for the sell off. Blame yourselves for not taking profits when you had the chance.
At any rate, even if the market reversed today, the sell off will be shallow and we’ll probably resume heading higher tomorrow.
Two days in a row my JAZZ gapped up more than $3, only to reverse lower–definitely a bearish sign. Then again, the biotech space is filled with surprises, such as 10,000% one day returns for PBYI Aug 105 calls.
As an aside, I’ve been doing some work on ZOES. I’d appreciate any anecdotal information you might have on this eatery. Do you slobs fancy yourself eating there often, or are you just a Wendy’s, Big Mac, Burger King type of guy?

1st!
There are 3 in my area and one right by my house. Business is usually steady there and I like how they up sell alcohol. IMOP its a bit over priced for what it is and the food is just ok.
Quit thinking with your welfare pockets.
what sort of food?
Mostly healthy chicken and rice dishes – simple or on Kabobs. They also sell hummus which is pretty average AT BEST. I like 2 things they do: 1 – Sell overpriced wine to soccer moms 2 – Cater to the take home dinner crowd. That stuff flys in suburbia. My only beef is that the food really is just ok. Not a place I really crave. Personally I think BWLD is the better play
Good info. Thanks
Zoes food isn’t actually half bad. It is geared towards healthier Mediterranean style food. It was quick and tasty when I was there. Now, given that most of your countrymen are giant fat fucks, it probably won’t do well in areas like the Carolinas, Georgia, Arkansas….you know, the tea bagger states.
It will do very poorly in Mississippi and Louisiana, as those ‘giant fat fucks’ enjoy a good chicken fried steak on top of their fucking panned cakes.
classic
Don’t forget the catfish, and don’t blame them for loving it. Daaaaamn it’s good !!!
There aren’t any Zoe’s that I know of here in fly-over country. I’m heading for lunch at Panera’s.
I DEMAND YOU FIND A ZOES AND EAT THERE.
Ahhh… Mr. Fly. I looked at the map of Zoe’s stores. They evidently don’t love Missouri, Kansas or Illinois . Of course, if you want to take me to lunch, let me know. 🙂
No food chains here in Switzerland..just cheese/watch makers and banks!
Aw, max-rene – I seem to remember seeing a MCD store when I was in Zurich.
ok a few such as MCD, once in a while a subway, but not like the us or canada
I remember that too. Seem to remember a charming little bistro right by the river in Lucerne (definitely not fast food)
All the QSR’s suck. Everyone is going to CMG. PBPB and NDLS are the most over priced, I own puts on both.

$54 million lost in 3 years by a 35 year old company. IPO to pay off debt. Gimme some of that!
From the sounds of it, Garbanzo here in Colorado is a superior version of the same thing. I’d put my money on a QSR from CO like I’d put it on a baseball pitcher from the Dominican. Don’t see ZOES making it any further west than Texas for that reason.
“We are going public!”. A five year old staring at a lap top screeching said line is the newest commercial in teevee land. Shoe shine box market euphoria?
What is the optimal number of hours of sleep for the Fly? I’m down to 6 a night, and aiming for 5. Fuck wasting time sleeping, thats for when you are dead.
6 is ideal
Zoes is great, I frequent the Newtown location next to Jules. Nice outdoor patio out back to eat. Probably not too far from the House of Fly.
I was just there for lunch. If you look closely, I am still there now.
I went to Colonial Farms, also a good lunch spot in the area
Never heard of it.
Looked it up and was surprised they aren’t in the tourist area of Orlando (everything else is).
Had CMG for lunch yesterday, they had a dish called the Einhorn where they serve organic grass fed crow in a chinese styled burrito.
Been there. Fine, nothing special. Kind of a new school ladies place. Small portions, pastel colors. Airport prices. You leave hungry and wonder why you spent $15 on a turkey wrap with a side of low fat muck.
The KIng, The Colonel, of the Clown for the denizens of this house……….
Zoes sucks. A poorly executed PNRA wannabee. Atmosphere is mediterranean poser central, I will never, ever, ever, eat there again.
