With today’s move higher, my losses are now under 20% for the year, up 17% over the past 6 weeks. I am very outsized TSL and have made sacrifices to the olde gods and the new, so I am not concerned with the future of my endeavor here. I treat each and every purchase as a “deal”, different from how I’d treat trades or investments. Some stocks are designed to be held long term, like MET, ACE and GSK. But everything else is simply temporary, purchased with the sole purpose to further my comeback.
Once I made back all of my losses, I intend to kill a great many of you, some shot through my trebuchet, others skinned alive and catapulted off castle walls.
The markets are good from here until mid-July. After the dip, we will buy it up until late August, when we will go to cash, seeking refuge in government bonds.
Until then, happy hunting!
NOTE: How’d you like my ECYT purchase?

Your ECYT purchase: ill timed.
Shut your pie hole
Sorry. No hate. Just read the news myself. Sucks.
Oh boy, I hadn’t seen the news. I thought you were fucking with me. All I can say is good thing it’s a small position
Glad to hear. Too many haters around these parts when you lose money.
Not bad timing, which implies some degree of analysis, just bad luck. Such events can’t be predicted.
terrible timing
LMFAO @ skinned alive.
these have truly been character building times. Recovering your loss, while i’m sure your clients appreciate most, pales in comparison to the cleanliness of the iBC hallways now vs. a month or so ago. The dirty vagrants running around were unpleasant. Mouth breathers, all of them.
I guess losses are back to 30%
ECYT is less than 1% of assets.
That’s good
Nice comeback so far, Senor Fly. MUCH appreciate the RNG recommendation last month.
nice picture of Canyon DeChelly. visit in the late spring
Well the ECYT is recovering somewhat after market. The news isn’t totally new ground.
Positive for the year now. Thank you SCTY!
What a jokester. Gloating about how great his $ECYT buy is when it closes up 10%. Now that its down 18% A/H? Eh, no big deal, “only 1% of assets”. For someone who allegedly runs a concentrated portfolio I highly doubt you ever make a purchase that is 1% of assets. Why not just keep a running portfolio on the site that links to your actual portfolio if you want to be transparent?
Buying the top
Why should I do that?
Also, I am 100% forthright about my position sizing. I am very sorry that the ecyt pullback doesn’t coincide with your hatred of me.
Fuck off
You should do that to establish legitimate credibility. You are not 100% forthright about position sizing but at best 25-50% forthright. There’s no clarity when you say something is a “small” or “large position” or even when “my biggest position” If you have 100 1% of asset positions then who gives a fuck what your “biggest position” is?
I am not selling my investment advice here. Bug off.
You either trust what I am saying is legit or don’t. Either way, I am here to clarify what you are incapable of doing, otherwise you wouldn’t be trolling about my comments section.
This is why I never touch biotech stocks, random pinless hand grenades
My biggest ups this year are biotechs. Some explode, some are rocket ships.
“…some explode, some are rocket ships.”
Sounds like you have invested a lot of time and much thought into your risk management strategy.
I’ll say goodbye now as you won’t be trading much longer.
Can someone please explain to me the insurer bull case / how MET/ACE do money? Always struggle with that concept. They flag super cheap on all my screens.
Multi-family homes
Largest drop
Ever
YEAH BABY
Could you please elaborate why are you so particular about timing; “The markets are good from here until mid-July. After the dip, we will buy it up until late August, when we will go to cash”?
I am trying to understand why do you think so?
Thanks in advance.
Your mode of explaining all in this article
is in fact fastidious, all be capable of without difficulty understand it, Thanks a lot.
