How did an illiquid biotech stock get to be so big of a position? Slowly. It’s worth mentioning, I have several other positions of similar size. Aside from my EZPW position, everything else is under 10%. I have a bunch of small positions, something unusual for me, done purposely due to market conditions.

If you enjoyed the new 300, one of the primary actors is in my namesake’s very entertaining show, Strike Back. Def worth a watch but not one for the kiddies. Great story, excellent cast, tons of action.
Spartacus (at least the first two seasons) is pretty bad ass. 300 style slow motion slayings, like knife through the neck shit and everyone is crazy male model ripped. Lot’s of sex too – basically soft porn.

My prediction:
Crimea will go to Ukraine. Russia is allowed to expand their base there, or have some sort of ‘control’ but ultimately it is part of Ukraine. No sanctions imposed. In two weeks, we look back and considered this a no-brainer dip to buy.
Long SPLK and FEYE with Mr Fly. Will buy YNDX if it gaps down below today’s low tomorrow.

Today was the first day in a month where we saw real divergence between opening long transactions between puts in indices and calls in equities which made this sell off feel real.

BUT. I also saw a lot of longer term directional options transaction in indices going off that might indicate a near term bottom in foreign market indices. Basically the VIX was brought up to sell longer term puts on many vehicles, while shorter term money is prepared for near term (week or so) volatility but a non-bear market resolution to these shenanigans.
I do not think so. Crimea only became part of Ukraine in 1954 when Khrushchev, a Ukrainian, gave it to them. It is mostly ethnic Russian.
