The Dry Bulk Index is on one of its epic runs. The last time this happened, EGLE went to $9, DRYS and GNK were heading to $5 and the world as we knew it still sucked.

I understand. No one cares until they do. Once Cape rates pass $30k, all of the plebeians will crawl from out their housing tenements to buy shares of BALT, GNK, DRYS, SBLK etc. If you were wise, you’d position ahead of the crowd. Shanghai Rebar has had a two day pop over the beats in PMI data. But, Shanghai itself had the Worst Pollution on record yesterday, everytime it gets this bad the Govt blames the rouge Steel Mills and other polluters and pushes stronger to shut down production. IMHO last months run up in Ore was Winter restocking that is it. The prices are up again, along with shipping rates…the Chinese have to actually make a profit in Steel to make it cuz at that big meeting a month ago the China Govt said they were planning on backing out of trying to hold up profits in the commodites. This is Winter, Winters Suck for Steel in China…I just don’t see it unless Some Country goes all QE…maybe this is the point we exit the Matrix and fundies will actually matter?
