Spending is the real taxation on the American people. You don’t get something for nothing.
If you have a deficit and do not have enough income to offset liabilities, you are in DEFAULT, whether it means on the debt or entitlements. Either way, your credit worthiness is impaired.

No, bud. The US avoids default on the debt by making all scheduled payments of interest and principal. The cash for those payments comes from newly issued debt, which the market is quite fond of.
Spending is related to default avoidance only when that spending is for interest payments on the debt.
