If this holds up in Judge Davis’s court then VHC will make a ton of money but since this is a jury trial anything can happen. Or AAPL, sitting on a load of cash buys them or pays them off which I doubt will happen, it will be a fight to the finish.

But like you, The Real Muppet looked at the white paper and though that it would be an extremely boring way to spend the next two hours of The Real Muppets life. Then The Real Muppet read the first two pages and realized that it would be much worse than that.
The Real Muppet is interested in the idea that the gold miners might be undervalued relative to gold owing to a trade popularized by Hugh Hendry in which hedge funds went long gold and short gold miners. The Real Muppet thinks that maybe its time for this trade to unwind and $HUI index looks to be turning.
To The Real Muppet- I saw this article last week and thought that The Real Muppet may want to read same (long gold-short miners).

Thanks TraderCaddy. Hugh mentioned this trade on 10/24/12 and I see that basically from that day forward $HUI has fallen about 10% while gold is up slightly. I think the gold miners sell off might be a little over done and there is probably enough short interest to put some extra juice on any up move. I am not taking a trade here just find it interesting. Maybe someone on this site will get a good idea. Thanks for the articles.
