Fly’s Weather Forecast: A Strong Chance of Rain

BREAKING NEWS-

It’s raining and windy in New Jersey. Thus far, the electricity is holding up ’round these parts–but might go out later tonight. In any event, there is a generator and 20 gallons of gasoline in the garage to defend The House of Fly against such extremities. We are not in a flood zone. However, without electricity, sump pumps fail and basements flood.

Last I checked, futures were lower. For the love of Donald Trump’s unparalleled generosity, I don’t know why. Natural disasters are good for GDP, in a macabre sort of way. People need to chill the fuck out and acknowledge the power of The Turkey Gods.

Get out there kids and stock up on some furry boots from DECK, for The Winter is Coming and your feet are going to be cold.

GNRC is killing it with generator sales. HD and LOW were positively jam packed.

Refineries do well because people horde gasoline, not just for cars, but for generators. My friend owns 3 gas stations and hasn’t slept in a week. Business is booming.

Many moons ago, I created a “Hurricane Watchlist” inside The PPT. Whenever an event moves a specific sector, I like to create a watchlist and save it for future reference. Think of it as a stock market diary of sorts, a reminder to buy certain stocks under specific conditions, like hurricanes, terrorist attacks, war etc.

Here are some stocks of note from my Hurricane Watchlist (members can click on link for actual list)

Which means that Mkts are closed. There is NOTHING to trade until we re-opeen tmrw or wednesday. Obama will take advantage by acting ‘presidential’ and making speeches showing how he cares about people in the storm.

It’s horseshit. He couldn’t care less about US citizens in the storm. He also did nothing to protect US citizens in Libya .I’m enraged that the Brotherhood “infiltrated” the Government of Egypt and Obama did nothing. I’m enraged that there were Spectre gunships on Malta that could have protected the SEALS but weren’t allowed to be brought in by this administration. I’m enraged that the media will give him a pass on this because it is run by the left and they will now talk only about the storm.

If the Obama Administration is willing to overlook the deaths of an American Ambassador and three other US citizens and cover up their responsibility for it as well as the destruction of an embassy, in order to curry favor with radical Muslims and give them cover for a Terrorist attack, I can only imagine him bending over backwards to placate and give-in to an entire elected government of a major country….and, again, at the expense of the sovereignty of the United States.

I cannot believe this election is as close as some of the polls have portrayed it

Why didn’t we sent the helicopter gunships into the vaccine formulating lab in Massachusetts, which Has resulted in the death of SIX TIMES as many Americans?

Libya, Shmibya. Just an overblown attempt by the right wing nuts to try to Carterize Obama.

If FEMA does a better job with this storm than Bush did with N.O., Obama will be re-elected … Write it down.

Odd, no? But true … watch!

Yes, he’ll be elected in New York and New Jersey.

Meanwhile our good friend, Ben Ghazi, awaits further traitorous revelations.

Obama cancelled two campaign visits but is making several others. Nonetheless, as expected, the media headlines are along the lines of “Obama cancels campaign events, returns to Washington to monitor storm.” Think any of this is an accident?

Mkts are closed: Im right wing, but who cares what the prez’s motives are for being a great leader during a disaster? If he is, it’s a great thing, because the situation calls for it. Stop being a douche and buy the GNRC.

Storm forward motion 28 mph reported on the 2 PM advisory. I take this as basically good. It will hurry ashore and begin to dissipate.

Dumb question. Why are the markets still so dependent on people showing up to buildings in lower Manhattan? Large companies have figured out that it makes good business sense to spread systems and staff across geography. But the financial markets remain dependent on lower Manhattan. Was nothing learned by this industry from 9/11, Katrina, etc.?

Have you heard about the beached whales and the Navy? How about HAARP?
Got to admit this storm has impeccable timing.

We are getting what we deserve. Scientists tried to warn us about global warming decades ago. We cursed them out, called them liars and politically driven shysters. Karma’s a bitch. Enjoy the rain.

So this hurricano is about global warming and last year’s LACK of hurricanoes was a result of … what?

Don’t tell me… “climate change!”

The temperature of the gulf is the highest it’s ever been. This doesn’t create hurricanes. It just makes for meaner ones.

The highest it’s ever been since when? The Medieval Warming Period? The Third Ice Age?

The arrogance of short timers…

North America has many ruins left by men forced to migrate due to the forces of nature.

We have only had major stationary cities in this country for 200 years…that’s nothing and will inevitably change.
