During this evenings repast, I intend to drink from the bottles of vine, nourishing myself with the nectar of the Gods, in an effort to revitalize my mind, body and soul for the battles ahead.

Huggie, This is a very bad thing that you prayed for. PBOC as of a couple of days ago was talking that they didn’t need to do this. China Govt had been trying to do a reverse repo to avoid doing this. Everytime the China Govt lowers the amount that their banks need to hold in reserve, it weakens the banks themselves and IMHO, I noticed a direct relationship to the RRR cuts and drops in Foreign Investment Data (which makes sense). CPI data should actually start to increase soon (and this months number was actual above estimates), China Gov has gone in and started to support Hog Prices after a super big drop in prices, plus China has been having serve droughts again this year. This RRR cut out of Lame Duck, less then 5 months before the New Guys are announced, and concerns the heck out of me..not good at all imho.
I wish I would proof read before posting, bottomline…CPI will continue to go up for the rest of the year and China Govt will see less Hot Money entering their country with this RRR cut. This RRR cut will just increase faster the CPI number and IMHO, China Govt will not get any benefit because the money their banks can lend will increase on Monday..but their Deposits will decrease and that is what they really need to keep up as this property bubble pops.
right now i care if its bullish for gold, and I am guessing that it is, at least in the near term.

Next week will be “hint on” as it relates to QE3. Gold and Silver COT reports say so. FOMC next week could light the fire. If things are inexplicably up early in the week, my money is on that being the reason. If not, I still think we’ll get a turn on Wednesday.
