QE FOREVER (RICH FOREVER)

In a speech this morning, Federal Reserve Chairman, Benjamin Bernanke, said he’s throwing a few hundred billion kilos of cocaine on the economy, aka “QE3”, whenever the fuck he feels like it. The economy is coming back, but it isn’t. Ben is only interested in having Obama get reelected, so he can keep his job. Therefore, THE BEARDED CLAM has decided to put a bid under the market for the rest of the year.

Now futures were already up before his speech, mind you. But now shit is getting giddy, +22 on NASDAQ, effectively TVIXing and Cherry Blossoming the bears yet again.

As an aside, many of you emailed me regarding the “investigative journalist” position at iBC. I got back to those of you whom I thought might mesh into the program. To reiterate, I am looking for someone who is passionate about disseminating news and information, at a rapid pace, with style and proper grammar. I was thinking about filling this position by June, so keep the emails coming in. It will be a paying job, but temporary position. If you own a blog; that’s a huge plus. But don’t bother emailing me if you just do technical analysis and shit like that. Flybroker at gmail.com

Well, prior to the market open, I look forward to a day filled with coin. I am 93% invested, heavily long, not really paying attention to reality or elasticity. You must understand, I tried the whole conservative sideline shit for more than 1 month. That’s like an eternity for a person, such as myself. But now it’s time to speak down to my enemies with extreme censorious tones. “The Fly” is back (as if he ever went anywhere) and you will soon BEHOLD generous winship on a level rarely seen before, particularly on the world wide internets.

As a degreed/experienced investigative journalist and long-time trader, I must make a request:

Don’t let someone do this for you, if all they are going to do is serve as a mouthpiece for propaganda coming out of the Tavistock Institute. Someone who collects propaganda coming out of the mainstream media and reposts it here is doing no one here any favors.

Check their background. Are they into the “green” movement with a background in nonprofits? Is their background more marketing and PR then investigative journalism? Be careful who you hire because this could mean the difference between a disfinformant, vs. an actual helpful informer.

    Gracias amigo.

It would also be good to see someone who reads news outside of the Western propaganda machine, who will repost news coming out of China and Iran, for example.

Reposting from from economists like Michael Hudson would be good. Also Al Jazeera, DEBKAfile, the Tehran Times, etc. I’d mention Russia Today and Max Keiser, as well, but both dabble in quite a bit of propaganda.

Fear mongering and reporting the false dialectic is not news anymore.

pardon the typos but writers tend to depend heavily on the ability to edit their work after the fact…

They will sell MORE cars because people want to dump their gas guzzlers and get cars
        with 35-55 MPG.

And since this country is DROWNING in domestic oil, suffocating in domestic natural gas, EXPORTING at record rates oil, gasoline, and petroleum products, the gas price probably has topped. Which perversely is less good for new car sales.

Seeming remote, platinum recently crossed back over (temporarily) gold a couple weeks ago (think auto catalytic converters [lower carbon emissions]).

If there was a demand pick up, plus 2012’s USD devalation, exports could continue. I agree with rg concerning mpg improvements with hybrids as well, though Republicans are “too rich” to complain, and Democrats too “spend crazy” to care.

But the world will still buy (especially with US as guarantor).

    10-Year Bond Yields:
    Greece 20.36%
    Portugal 12.58%
    Hungary 8.93%
    Spain 5.31%
    Italy 5.00%
    Belgium 3.32%
    France 2.92%
    Netherlands 2.45%
    U.K. 2.26%
    U.S. 2.25%
    Germany 1.87%

Greece yield is up and over 20% gaining almost 250 basis points since Thursday. Portugal is moving sideways and their yield curve remains inverted from the 5’s thru the 30’s indicating recession ahead. Hungary steadily climbs higher day after day. Yields are blowing out higher; perhaps a bell will ring when it hits 9%? Spain’s plans for austerity are hitting a snag today in addition to the slaps in the face from Italy and Finland. Spain 10-year yield is moving sideways, actually lower than Friday, now at 5.31%. Italy sits directly on top of the 5% level. France is below 3% the first time in a week.
