For the record, “The Fly” doesn’t golf. As far as I am concerned, if you are a family man, like myself, one that is enterprising, building business through industry, you have no fucking business on a golf course. You are either a degenerate or a lazy man, should you find yourself teeing off with your jerkoff friends. Grow up already.
The way I see it, golf is an avocation for the retired, the gold Rolex crowd, men who can look at their families and their bank accounts and say: “I’ve done a good job; now everyone fuck off while I go play with my balls.”
It’s valentines day, which means many of you spent a good penny on gifts for your loved ones. It’s a wise investment, if I might say so myself. Anything that improves relations also increases quality of life. The price tag for quality of life is infinite; therefore, feel free to splurge every so often. It’s the miser, mind you, who is miserable more often than not. It’s the miser, mind you, who will die a rich and ignorant man.
Well, you know my market position: boring, in cash, with a dash of TZA–only for my personal. I must admit, the market is very impressive and I am proud of the traders inside of The PPT and 12631 for making a killing. There are so many well informed traders/investors inside of those rooms, it is absolutely staggering. Had I known about such a venue, when I was starting out 15 years ago, I would have saved myself from agonizing losses through undisciplined defeats by watching others do it right.
Speaking of which, I am determined, head firmly made from granite, to wait for my dip. I am up 18% for the year and possess the patience of an elephant.

Fly- if you are still in the tea thing check this place out in Brooklyn. It’s no “mall” store. Try White Wolf or Majorelle Mint. Mrs. Fly would like the place.

By the way, not really true for golf if you kid(s) plays. It is a great bonding experience just like any other sport or activity would be and is amazingly inexpensive (paid $40/mth for junior including a cart on great course and unlimited range and play)here in Florida.
I hate white tea.
Agreed on the playing with kids part. But 95% of men go by themselves.
Agree with both of you, but mostly Fly.
Then, I really don’t like golf that much. I’d rather play tennis with my kids. Fun, and gets the heart rate up, which is important.
Speaking of important, regarding last weeks’ multiple topics,

Sorry, that link got messed up… click on the line above.

On topic of V-Day and golf: I must saw how lucky I must be to have a woman who loves to play golf and tennis and is also super competative.
Eat light tonight gentleman.
It should be illegal for anyone under the age of 65 to use a cart.
This run is ridiculous. Look at the AAPL chart. It has run from 360 to 500 in 3 months, with absolutely no dip.
I’m getting out while the gettin is good.
BTW, Fly, take a look at MAKO. Company showing astronomical growth, and highly shorted.
-61% Profit Margin on MAKO. The more they sell, the more they lose.
that cant be true?
Nice one. Economies of scale will raise their profit margin. They currently have very few units in the marketplace, but are ramping up production.
I’ve done a good job; now everyone fuck off while I go play with my balls
Get them.
It raining, play with them soon.
That Randall guy that narrates the Honey Badger video should work in Hollywood doing voice overs.
Either that, or gay porn…
The best part about “golfers” is when they talk up their game as if they were Lee Trivino himself. They spend every weekend and any available weekday hitting the links… then I watch them shank every ball to the right or left.
Then they exclaim: “Damn, this bad wrist! I need to see a doctor”
I laugh the whole time as I also shank it left or right, but that’s because I go twice a year.
Hook left.
Unless you’re left handed.
I golf a handful of times a year. Last time I went out, I was two under after nine – 7 beers, 9 holes.
Munks have great qualities of life if measured by peace of mind and freedom and degree to which they are able to be happy.
They mostly live alone without much material possession though, and there’s very few of us that can do that. “harder to get a camel through the eye of a needle” type of thing
But I say, leave the golfing for Tiger Woods. He started when he was 3, and he knows of little else. You don’t have a chance against him, and if you aren’t going to be exceptional or unique at something (in an artistic sort of fashion) then ffind something else.
Did u sell CPST?
My spouse and I stumbled over here coming from a different web address and thought I might as well check things out. I like what I see so now i am following you. Look forward to looking over your web page again.
