A Pullback is in the Cards

The REITS look weak, as well as some retail names. But for the most part, we are grinding here, teasing the bears with a -15. After a 3% rally, this is exactly what the bulls want: a tepid pullback with runners in highly speculative sectors.

Either way, I’m covered. I allocated some coin into PWRD, but nothing too fancy or elaborate. Fuck you if you believe I am using the wrong words to describe my actions, by the way. I can read your peasant minds and know how you think. I can see you sitting there, at your bullshit PC, wishing you knew what the fuck was going on.

The reality is, you don’t know anything because you are genetically inferior. It’s a hard truth but someone needed to tell you. Thank me later.

I am selling out of my CVI position, but holding WNR. I just banked 26% in CVI, inside of one short week. Don’t fuck with me, else risk losing your limbs.

As God is my witness, I pray the skies open up and strike unmitigated fear into the green hearts of the protesters down on Wall Street, via lightening bolts to their skeletal frames. Get out of my city you filthy animals.

All that aside, at some point, this market will need to pullback, taking its big muddy boot off the necks of lowly life forms like “alf44.” When it happens, I will be there, with cigar in hand, to buy the margin liquidations of all of the unseemly people chasing today.

Any one seen an actual list of demands from these Wall Street protestors? There’s a couple that are supposedly bogus floating around on the www but I wondered if there was a “real” and sanctioned list.

Heard they were camped out at Blankenstein’s house.

Also wondering if N0bama will find a way to capitalize on this movement.

he’s not gonna go near this. as one protestor was holding a sign that said,” i voted for hope and change”. this is the very age group that propelled him into the wh. guess what?????????? i was liken the cain man. but after reading an article about him and this,”aquilla” fund that he,and board members prodded employees into buying the company stock, and then got thoroughly screwed, just like enron……so fuck the cain man…

Weak tea, Drummer. He was on the board of a company that got overlevered in the new energy trading Wild West days (yes, engendered by Enron). The company did not go BK, and it was bought by another competitor in a cash merger.

The bullshit story about how he “encouraged employees” to do something is pure Mother Jones no-business-knowledge leftist tripe.

Board members have zero contact w. employees unless they are management.

He could first escalate the tension between protesters and cops via increased riot police enforcement or whatever, then when it really escalates he can put the military out there to stand between them and say “freedom of speach will be protected” and give some BS “touching” speech.

Fly I think 0bama should tax you and I more and with the additional revenue buy new I-Phones and give them to the protestors…It’s only fair…

lol says:

I think he should just start handing out some iphones to the first 30 protesters. Then they can all trample each other like it’s black Friday on Halloween on a full moon.

What a joke. These idiots should try occupying a job instead of wasting their time at a 24-7 street festival.

drummerboy says:

bullish, you just answered your own Q, if they had a job, they wouldnt be there. now we get to see how many people really dont have a job. the jokes on us,if you think about it.

lol says:

Of those that don’t have jobs, how many don’t have a job because they are gaming the system? How many refuse to work for McDonalds? How many don’t have jobs because they would have to start paying student loans they can’t afford because of the government inflated tuition prices? How many don’t have jobs because they aren’t qualified to work at McDonalds?

Wow! Can you believe those four people!?! Now I know the whole movement is a sham! Thank god for PROJECTVERITAS!

Yeah, he probably orchestrated that hilarious “Human Microphone- Reject-Jon-Lewis” comedy act in Atlanta, too.

Let’s face it, you hippies are your own worst enemies.

No wonder Soros is bankrolling this idiocy… it gives him COVER.

The protesters will get bolder as economic conditions deteriorate.

Someone will come along and whip these malcontents into a furor.

The .1% better be prepared to evacuate lest they want the French Revolution treatment.

When the elites bug out, the gig is up.

Reply
Mr. Cain Thaler says:

Now it’s the .1% is it?

How the fuck is this 99% (99.9%) nonsense still holding up? 80% of this country is doing fine; 90% of this country knows better than to bitch about “mysterious forces” secretly oppressing them.

Never. Gonna. Happen. I will start shooting these protestors myself before I watch them form a “new model.”

Reply
Jakegint says:

I think the remedy to this 99% nonsense lies here.

Personal responsibility. Live it, hippies.

Now go get a bath.

Why in the world are you so outraged? The banks did not act responsibly. Their poor oversight blew billions and they got reimbursed. You have these great idealistic kids who actually give a shit.

This doesn’t happen often and its the most honest display of American patriotism I’ve seen in decades.

Mad Willie has returned from NYC to the comparatively slow-moving, infinitely better-smelling South. It was a gas, and thanks to all of you for the great suggestions.

Some Highlights:

* Katz’s deli. Unreal Hot Pastrami sammich.
* Getting drunk with a bunch of belligerent Yankee fans
* Staten Island ferry. WAY better than expected. Perfect weather and views of the city
* The UNBELIEVABLE number of insanely hot women

Nymph on a Soapbox. In 2010 when USA went all QE crazy, the Chinese Commodities market went crazy. Now, Bank of England gave us mini QE and China is NOT buying. USA last week thought, omg, China is going to restock and buy our shit. WRONG, China is heading to touch their 2009 lows, while we buy Tech and Global Growth…this is the lamest thing ever.

Reply

Oh, and while I am on my Soapbox, China slowdown…I am so sick of everyone saying, oh China has a high GDP, if it falls a little bit who cares. China historically goes boom/bust..nothing soft. Hot Money comes in, shadow banking goes crazy and everyone pays for Autos and Property in Cash..then Hot Money goes and Chinese say screw you Hot Money we are not going to pay for your Loans, just sue us in Court, Chinese Court. Our Big Problem is that our stupid banks lent to people that were feeding the Hot Money into China..we are so screwed.

This was before my time, Nymph, and most certainly before yours.

I read a throwback post for some reason. Maybe it was a link that Fly posted to past work and I was meandering through the comments after reading…can’t really recall.

But I remember her talking about moral relativism as it applied to decision making at companies and “The Matrix.”
