The Corporate Jet Guys Win Again

The countless millionaires and billionaires who don’t pay their “fair share” are on the verge of yet another victory, this time over Prezident O’bama. Seriously, if you just agreed with that statement, you’re a reprehensible goatfucker with a dogs brain. What the fuck is “fair share” anyway? Last time I checked, less than 50% of this country pays any taxes at all. Despite having a fucking magician for a tax attorney, I still managed to pay the cocksuckers in Washington a 6 figure tax bill last year. At the same time, my taxes are going up everywhere I look. I can’t fucking drive on the NJ turnpike for more than 5 miles without paying a toll. And to get onto my God forsaken island, I have to pay $13 for the privilege, via the Verrazano bridge toll.

Whatever the fuck they are doing in Washington isn’t working. Believe me, I am not hating on O’bama only. George Bush was the worst President in the history of the United States, which caused me to lose all faith in the political process. The policy for more than a decade has been to spend like fucking idiots. Why not try something different? Let’s cut the spending by $4 trillion over 10 years, just for shits and giggles. See what happens.

Oh, let’s not touch the seniors, right? Fuck you. My grandmother, rest her soul, used to visit her physicians 5 times per week for 20 years. There is no way she needed to see all of those idiot doctors. Old people use doctor appointments as social gatherings. Someone needs to tell those old fuckers they are NOT entitled to bankrupt the country for the sake of quelling their boredom.

I pay $1,300 per month for insurance and visit the doctor maybe 3 times per year. This society is filled with pussies, who live on hamburgers and fries then panic their way into a coronary, wondering how the fuck it happened.

I am a seller into this market. I am 70% cash, long DECK, BPFH, GSVC and a little WNR, FORM, VCLK with a TZA hedge. I intend to watch the bozos fuck up America’s credit rating and will buy the subsequent dip.

Complacency is high, while competency is low. A bad mix for stocks.

    Raise taxes, Cut spending

“Tax hikes for the rich” is just propaganda to get people to accept the idea of a tax hike. In reality, everyone’s taxes need to go up.
You need to get away from using income taxes and move to a universal sales tax. That way, everyone pays, and if you are rich and like to buy big BMW’s, you pay more.

how do I thumb up the first half of your post for being correct, and the second half thumb down?
If you like to buy BMWs and are taxed, then it should be a sales tax if you believe that is the problem, that way you can tax extravagant living and spending ‘on the backs of **hardworking american’s’** and not the people who are trying to reinvest that capital and create growth. People don’t realize that when you give a corrupt government more money, they are just going to further enable busiensses even if you allegedly are giving them more money to “increase regulation”.

** (as if businessmen don’t work their butts off earning $0 for the first 3 years taking on massive risks along with the rich investors as well just to produce something everyone likes so much that the Ritalin of society works long enough to sell the product before they have to come up with something else, so they can sell it well enough to actually continue to employ as many people as they do.)

The middle class are the ones buying the new expensive cars and going into massive debt to “keep up with Jones” who have millions in business income and use many of their goods and services for business purposes while occasionally renting them for personal use from their own company, and they used to live like slobs before they “made it big” because they had actually believed in creating a better future for society.

Ya’ll a bunch of greedy socialists who think you have the right to take what isn’t yours. Robin Hoodlums thinking stealing is okay if someone else does it for you, and if it’s not stealing, than it’s at least ‘biting the hand that feeds you’ and alienating those that produce. The government is a 14 trillion a year business that doesn’t produce anything, and you expect them to take over those that do, it’s idiotic. If the government were to compete in the economy in the real world without the ability to print their own money, you better believe they would not be a 14 trillion a year industry, If you don’t get ‘paid enough’ that’s your problem. You really think you can say “I’m not going to work if you don’t pay me more”? ha, there is a surplus of other idiots just like you who paid overpriced tuition due to the governments extravagant policies of trying to provide a college education for everyone that resulted in HUGE price inflation in tuition and depended heavily on wage inflation which hasn’t been there, and now since an insane amount of people can afford to go to college, now the “competitive wage” is something that probably would be below minimum wage if we wanted businesses to employ EVERYONE. The rich reap because they have sown. ya’ll are looking like you can plant a seed in the forest, water it once and say “growing trees is rigged” “growing trees doesn’t work, it’s a scam!” “It’s all designed to make people waste their time planing a garden or forest just so they can sell us more seeds!” You can uproot every plant that’s ever been planted and redistribute it evenly but it isn’t going to “feed more people” than if you would let those planting do what they do, let it bear fruit and let the economic environment set the price.
No, we haven’t had true capitalism, because the government has gotten in the way.

I said it before and I will say it again, a program designed to help makes things worse. It’s the Austrian school of thought, which I am not exclusively in support of but there are valid points.

Seems like this week’s media propaganda bandwagon slogan is “SACRIFICE.”

Collectivism always requires sacrifice, Much sacrifice. Much more than is warranted.

Sacrifice your freedom and your standard of living so that others may enjoy them, too. Not because this is needed, but because it creates a political paradigm that keeps the central bankers in greater control for much longer.

If you own the media and have access to unlimited money, you too can create your own mass social movements. How delightful.

regarding fair share, fully agree… i don’t know a fucking person who uses anything close to even $10,000 of tax money per year. shit I haven’t asked the government for a fucking thing since I’ve been an adult, the roads are all I use, setup an electronic toll system so you pay as you go type shit and I’d happily pay that.

My 80+ year old mother hasn’t been to the doctor since I was born. And she has a full medical plan paid by her former pharma company, but she still won’t go.

Buy you’re right. All old people do is go to the doctor, talk about their ailments with one another, and wonder why they don’t feel good while taking 17 different medications per day.

I don’t go to the doctor either – I get my blood work done every 5 years when I renew my life insurance – you don’t need an MD to read the test printout.

And my golfing buddy is an MD – we work on the barter system – I give him financial advice and help him with his golf swing, and he gives me free medical advice.

Homeopathy is perhaps the greatest medicine ever invented, that you don’t know about. The UN’s (aka, World Bank and IMF) Codex Alimentarius legislation seeks to make homeopathy illegal, worldwide.

The conversation that we in the U.S. need to have, but will never have, is about what is reasonable for the government to collect taxes for and provide for the population as a whole, and what is unnecessary spending that should be eliminated. But we will never have that conversation, because we are a polarized people. Plenty of propaganda comes our way constantly out of the TV and radio, encouraging us to keep up the polarization. Somebody benefits from this Divide and Conquer strategy. Guess who?

After the debt ceiling theater currently going on, we will return to high spending and eventually much higher taxes– regardless of which party is given power. The only way out is a functional 3rd party.

One would assume that the removal of party influence would make said representatives and senators more willing to listen to their constituents.

When Roger Ailes and Paul Weyrich recruited Fat Lying Pig Limbaugh to shill for the corporations
in October 1988, the country was on Step One to get screwed.

In Step Two, Ailes was appointed head of Fox News, and made sure that Limbaugh and Glenn Beck
spread the LIE that our Corporatist media was “liberal”.

Using football and fat Caddy-driving Welfare Queens as props, the got the stupid and gullible

So that’s where we are today. Controlled by corporations, with NO WAY to get the truth out.

    “Take, for example, the policy
of stealing crops from farmers to feed the poor. While
the temporary result might be food distributed to more
people, the long-run result of doing so would be different.
The farmer would have little incentive to produce efficiently
or with more labor-effort because the results of his
increased labor would not benefit him (in fact, the less he
    labored producing, the less effort he would be wasting);
therefore, he would begin to produce less food. Over the
long run, total production would dwindle so much due to
this lack of incentive that there would be far less food for
everyone in the society. If you doubt this, take a look at
farm production in the former Soviet Union, or at the difference
in the farm production of Guangdong’s farms in
China before and after farmers were allowed to sell their
excess crops themselves (production rose more than 100%
in just three years). When you steal from the producers, the
poor are temporarily enriched, but in the long run everyone
is impoverished. As Socialism and Communism were becoming
popular in the 1920s, Mises used this theory to predict
their future failure. He showed how poor incentives
created by Communism and Socialism would eventually
lead to such dismal economic growth rates and widespread
relative poverty that these statist systems would fall apart
of their own weight. Thus 70 years ago, Mises predicted the
collapse of Communism that we have witnessed in Russia
    and China.”

The government is a 14 trillion a year revenue generating business that doesn’t produce a thing. Everyone seems to hate the banks but somehow it’s different when it’s an entity that calls themselves ‘government’ and is the ultimate ‘too big to fail.’

They’re just as tricked into thinking they’ll get something out of it as the people who took out subprime loans that couldn’t pay for it. morons.

Agreed, people have this conception of the world were producers are only people who “actually make things”. The reality is, the guy who allocates capital and support has a far larger impact, at the individual level, then those who “produce”. Get rid of a handful of wheat farmers and their plots are quickly absorbed by others. Get rid of one of the major wheat futures market maker trading desks and your going to be in for alot of pain in the immediate term.

Mr Cain Thaler and Seraphos are both right, yet at the same time, this is the one reason why I actually can see an argument for the “no debt- gold standard” guys, even though it would be tragically painful to get there and probably backward thinking, A cash market doesn’t need manipulation and lending, at such a high degree for society to function, nor people living “paycheck-to-paycheck” as they would have to save up cash to buy things.
But it would be TERRIBLE to implement and would basically require a depression. I’d rather keep the wheels spinning and hope we get there before we run out of gas so to speak.

My grand dad made up for your grand mother Fly. He did cigars, nasty Odin’s IIRC all his life, smoked half, chewed the other half until it met in the middle. Never had to trim his nose hairs because he burned them off lighting that stub of a cigar with a stick match.
He never went to a doctor for anything except a hernia when he was in his 30’s. Hardly ever took so much as an aspirin. Just after his 89th birthday he started feeling poorly and his wife talked him into seeing a doctor. Told him he had lung cancer and asked when he wanted to start treatment. He said “I don’t, 90 is old enough. I’ll just go home”. He did and passed away peacefully just after his 90th birthday of pneumonia brought on by the cancer..
They don’t all become OCD about seeing the doc so don’t paint with such a broad brush. There still exist self reliant and independent minded people who are proud to square their shoulders back and take whatever life throws at them. He was a good example.

Naive? Cut the crap. My Dad never went to doctors, never had a surgical procedure. At 91 he went to a doctor for help regarding incontinence. He lived in his own home, by himself utilizing a visiting housekeeper. By 95 he had weakened considerably but still going up and down stairs, drinking 3 scotches a day and watching the Playboy channel. He passed later in his 95th year from heart failure. Who knew? If he had occupied time at some shyster doctor offices he might have lived a while longer. So, please, for once, shut the fuck up about things you know nothing about or, are just trying to be a prick for fun.

Give people excess amounts of sugar so they can either die of a heart attack before they get diabetes, or until they practically choke on the stuff and refuse to have any ever again and the psyche of americans when they see everyone choking on sugar is so damaged that society won’t eat anything remotely sweet ever again.

A solution is to Ban Viagra while enabling assisted suicide for those over the age of 55.5… thus preventing 70+ yr old from being able to fuck like a 20 year old and having a desire to be kept alive while being very creepy. If he doesn’t have a desire to be alive we won’t need to keep these people alive as their backs start to hurt, their hips pop and staying alive sucks enough without the occasional tail that they won’t want to stay alive listening to their hairy, smelly, overweight granny wives fart around while constantly nagging.

Lord knows I’ve seen enough hypochondriacs and listened to their inane babbling about whatever malady they have that particular day. Aches and pains are a part of life from what I have experienced so far and most people would be healthier if they just accepted that rather than worrying themselves to death about something like an ingrown toenail.

How about the new Manhattan parking meter rip-off. Fifty friggin’cents for 10 minutes, 3 bucks for 60 minutes of parking on the filthy street where your car is exposed to friggin idiot cab riders who open the door to get out and smash it into your car, dogs pissing on your tires, junkies using your hood as a hammock etc. It’s gotten to the point where it may be cheaper to use a garage. I take that back. They’ve raised their rates as they recognize a demand shift when they see it.

Meanwhile you have Bloomberg’s storm troopers writing tickets with $100 fines for productive citizens who miss their meter by two minutes or the moronic policy of ticketing UPS and FedEx trucks. How the fuck do you expect to get anything delivered in NYC if UPS can’t park?

I like to live by KISS (keep it simple stupid) principles. Flat taxes across the board with a floor built in to maintain at least a minimum standard of living per taxpayer.

You are responsible for your own retirement.
You are responsible for your own healthcare.
You are responsible for your offspring until they are adults.
You are responsible for your elderly parents.

Get rid of Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, and most entitllements except those that are unable to take care of themselves absent children or parents.

This nation was once populated by people who understood that they were on their own save the charity of family, friends, and strangers.

In regards to Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, give everyone the option to opt out with the understanding that they are on their own and reimburse them what they have paid in. Let’s see the government cut those checks and find out if we can cash them.

I agree with you in theory but it won’t ever happen and it’s too late and how do you default on your promises that so many depend on, especially when it is fatal politically? The problem is that the government already said “don’t worry guys, we got this”. I know social security and medicare is designed to funnel money out of your hands and into the golden parachutes and high wages of congress… but still.

First there was DB pension funds for the baby boomer’s parents
Then there was Social Security, Medicare and Welfare passed by Johnson and Kennedy, and then
ERISA law act in 70s which made DB pension funds obsolete and forced americans to rely on investments in the stock market for their retirement and to get their payments they had to contribute.
Nixon took us off the gold standard.
Then stock market multiples obviously expanded drastically as a result of the above, especially ERISA and gold standard removal.
There were 401ks until Clinton decided he could collect more tax revenue now rather than later with the IRA plan. An additional enron-like accounting trick that the government used as admitted by Clinton was that they considered the social security and medicare checks as INCOME, leaving them as unfunded liabilities, rather than saying the government’s assets go towards the expense of a fund which will eventually pay them. mean while Clinton did things such as taking food and fuel out of the CPI and tinkering with unemployment numbers and so on (recreated somewhat with shadowstats). This made the US look like an area of high growth with a “budget surplus” even though it was all pushed off to future generations and really was about thievery which wouldn’t get noticed until later when these ponzi schemes had to be paid for. Bush drastically increased payments on medicare C.
Obama now puts up Obamacare which is the government’s way to fleece the businesses the same way they did the employee, but of course that is money your employer can’t pay you or others that are unemployed, just as is all the taxes on the employer effecting you just as those directly on you.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot the loopholes got closed for private contractors and Doctors and lawyers to be able to use the same loopholes in real estate as the rich without needing to have a big business corperation causing the ’87 crash.

The government will continue to grow and the 1950s actually mark the first time the overall percentage of the world’s wealth started to divest from the US as the US only lost value relative to the rest of the world, as the rest of the world still continued to grow including the US.

How did the war on poverty work out? It gave money to single unwed mothers (more so than any other area on welfare), so no surprise that people became born into poverty and population could grow in areas that couldn’t afford population growth…
      http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-J3Tp-8t-LyI/TaJcgBfaY9I/AAAAAAAAAKk/jssL71gzTs0/s1600/Percentage_births_to_unwed_mothers.jpg

How does giving more money to retirement and matching 401k plans and IRAs and such work out in preparing people for retirement? I don’t have the data, but I would bet heavily that retirement savings rate as a percentage of wealth per age group did not go up as a result, that is just how it works.

Most people will never see that more handouts usually make them more poor as it gives them a false sense of security, even if you show them the financial statements 2-3 years later of around 80% of all lottery winners being significantly worse than before. It will never fly politically until there’s no other choice. We aren’t there yet.

    Folks,

As to the medical usage debate you don’t need the anecdotal stuff to make your case. Think back to your 9th grade economics class. The teacher should have explained the concept of Supply and Demand. When the government tries to subvert the laws of supply and demand by subsidizing the cost (pretending something is free) it will create an artificial demand for more of that product or service which will naturally raise the cost of that product or service. When our overlords in DC decide to give (awfully generous with OPM aren’t they?) free medical care to everyone it floods the medical system with greater demand. Obviously, we can not magically increase the supply of doctors & nurses so that demand will not be met. People willing to pay will end up paying increasingly higher prices for medical care.

It is a different lesson for another day, but Supply & Demand rules also explain why price controls eventually fail.

Supply and demand?…no, I was in the same emergancy room for kidney stones I had visited 25 years ago as a child, looked like the same equipment! That hospital had been paid for many years ago. The “cost” was so high because they were includung the cost of illeagal aliens and out of control doctor insurance to my bill, not because of the use of some 35 year old hospital room….My dad has said many times if medicare made everyone pay a co-pay when they went ti the doctor, the US would save billions. It’s also the fact that doctors stay in school so long and the government creates false demand that they HAVE to pay for it for years and years and years later, so they have to get paid well otherwise there won’t be any doctors, so in order to make a profit the hospital has to have higher charges. And since you have insurance industry with people paying for it as they live paycheck to paycheck… you can have high costs to support it.

It’s not just the DIRECT involvement

most animals go out and die alone, yet all humans for some reason fear “dying alone” almost half as much as running out of money during retirement which is probably somewhat related since their spouse will leave them and they will starve and die alone.

    Fly,
What term would you use to describe the democrats?
What term would you use to describe the republicans?

If you were given the entire world while simultaneously preventing the death of your loved ones and saving your soul from damnation, would you have sex with Nancy Pelosi? Hillary Clinton? Janet Reno? (Keep in mind, Paper bags and alcohol are allowed)

Finally, Who is the biggest assclown in politics right now?

Brilliant commentary senior fly. Love your TZA hedge as well. I prefer TWM because my balls are smaller than yours(although I am sure my penis is bigger).

Nonetheless, small caps are the easiest pickens on the shirt side. I tip my top hat to you and I look forward to more posts.

    Good day sir.

      What’s wrong with politicians?…..Contradictions?

For starters, how about they lie?

They lie, lie, lie….just like a Persian rug……They’re also raving pussies with no spines, morals or principles…..They seek only glory, celebrity and influence.

What’s going on in Washington is a joke….totally avoidable, if the pussies had balls and a conscience.

They have plenty of balls but no conscience. Since we voters vote for Congress folks who are financed by Special Interest Groups, we are the ones who cause this. We elected these people, when we could have searched for and chosen other candidates, who accept no bribes. It takes a lot of balls tor a Congress person to pretend to be representing voters and then to throw them under the bus whenever ytheir campaign financiers ask them to do that.

that’s what they created the corporation for so they could do things like build ship exploration companies and fund it without personal risk to bankruptcy through lawsuits beyond what they invested in the company.

what’s with the “lean forward” ad about this country being “created out of equality” as an excuse to say it’s “fair to have the rich pay 60% taxes or just redistribute wealth.
This country got here because we revolted from paying ANY taxes. THAT was “equality” because ANYONE could participate.
