The Dems are pussies … and the Pubes are pricks!
There are reasons for that. The Pubes can unashamedly pursue a strategy of taking care of the super wealthy and large corporations, including the military industrial complex and TBTF banks. Anyone who thinks Pubes represent anyone else in the U.S. is too dumb to have to be considered in their strategy.
The Dems are also beholden to Special Interest Groups, including some of the same ones the Pubes are beholden to. But they pretend to care about the poor and middle class. So when they do not legislate in favor of the poor and middle class, but instead in favor of the TBTF banks or other Special Interest Groups who financed their campaigns, they need an excuse. “Those mean Pubes made us do it” is usually their excuse.
This conflict belies the fact that all Congress persons of any party are just Legislation Salespeople, selling legislation to the highest bidder. And the fact that all Congress folks of either party are consequently very quick to throw taxpayers, consumers, and voters under the bus at every opportunity.
It is not the Dem Congress folks who are being effed. It’s the vast majority of the American people.
and 51% of americans now pay no taxes, which means they are going to vote for more and more empty promises, which ultimately are going to go to a select few, and higher taxes for the rest of those working will work for the rest of us. bye bye middle class
Political promises are not kept by either party. So the non-tax-paying folks dumb enough to vote for empty promises will not be a problem. The problem is that the Special Interest Groups like TBTF banks will keep draining the middle class. The middle class is busting our butts to pay taxes– taxes that end up flowing to the Military Industrial Complex, TBTF banks etc.

What he says seems to be mostly true, as it does seem that he comports himself like a gentleman in public. So maybe he takes himself a little too seriously ,and is a bit more proud than humble. But a lot of folks could learn a few things from the guy. He’s a good choice for where to send folks who are banned from an Internet message board for ungentlemanly behavior.
Why pundits keep repeating tax increase will kill job creation like a mantra? Cutting spending will also kill job creations.

Have been busy working and out of town the past couple days but it seems as though ‘drummerboy’ has joined the disorient express and gone completely insane along with the likes of Michael Richards. Luckily I can recommend a pill for that.
On the topic of insanity;
First let me state that with the name last name Pope I am not a religious man by any definition of the word and can count on one hand the number of times I have stepped inside a church. That being said I was forced to a wedding this weekend by the wife in downtown Buffalo (5 hour drive) and warned that if I went golfing instead of going to the church portion that I would find my nuts in a vice. Reluctantly I played only 9 holes on an already hot day to set the stage for ultimate dehydration only to find out that there was no AC inside of old Catholic churches. By the time the service had concluded my white collared shirt was translucent.
Insanity equals not having AC in the year 2011.
