It’s CMGI All Over Again

GSVC is the next CMGI of this generation of degenerate internet stocks. With 3 million shares in the float, and a high profile investment in Facebook, as well as others sure to come, I can see this stock raping clowns for months.

Granted, the valuation is a bit whacky. But, you cannot assign traditional valuations to something that cannot be replicated. This is the best way, in my opinion, to play the burgeoning IPO market. Don’t be surprised if the stock goes to $10 or $50. Just know and understand, as this story gets out, people will be trading the shit out of this stock, for better or for worse.

So you know, I took a position in the stock today and feel it trades much higher than today’s price.

Key part of my thesis as to why we are going to Dow 24,000…then I’ll have to raise my target price using an eyeballs or pageviews valuation metric…classic.

Clock is ticking for the bears.
Romney is going to take the whitehouse, pawn it ,and use it to buy JPM new golden toilet seats.
But,I still expect a 2+ percent pullback, minimum, before the next leg up here. VXX held like a champ all week. It seems we will get chop, regardless of direction.

It’s concerning to see how jaded these comments are.

Romney (and his ilk) are so very, very, very American. Isn’t it interesting how American culture glorifies “quick fixes”, but in a totalitarian-dictatorial-majoritorian-fashion defames the Amish and Mormons.

Most of the critics haven’t a clue how this country became great. In the name of Ben Franklin: “Mind Your Business.”

I might add, have some faith. I find cynics are cowards. “Put that shit on the shelf and be a man.” DevilDriver.

Religious plantations, really PO? Now that’s perversion of superlative degree.

That saying used to be stamped on Banked Coin pre-FDR (see 20th Amendment on banning crazy-liberal Presidents) and before 1950’s braced itself for the Activist Court of “Platonic Guardians.” See Roper, et. al..

What Colonel said, but without wry intent needed to discredit you detractors.

jim baker.sucking the money out of people in the name of god. unfortunately,in the past,in the business dealings that i have had with the type of people who, every other word has either blessed, thank god,the “so-called religious in your face about it,have all turned out to want to screw you after a deal is done when its time for payment. and then they;ll start up with the in your face that it was “glorious” that this that and the other to no end. and then they still dont want to pay up.

            Drummer,
You can tell a tree by it’s fruit . Maybe these people were not christians. I understand your disappointments in business and I had some situations with simular people as well. I have learned in life don’t put your trust in man, but in god. People will let you down, but people either christian or not, were made imperfect. Jesus showed us many situations as he lived out his life, men that persecuted him, yet it did not stop him from finishing out gods plan nor should it stop the plan that god has for your life either. Non of us are perfect, but as true believer, if a chritian starys, it gods job to convict that person’s heart.
We are not the judge, that is is gods job.

That’s the problem with political “discussions.” It seems to always turn out to be people insulting each other, or insulting each other’s fave candidate, rather than any constructive or amusing discussion. One might as well “discuss” who believes in the one true religion.

It sounds like your own political religion is somewhere to the Right of Attila the Hun.

So I take it you chose the chairman Mao Avatar as a way to try to ridicule people whose political leanings are somewhere to the Left of Attila the Hun- that is, most people?

Yep, in the war of ideas (Nietzsche), I’ll snipe all you America-haters. Will play games with your heads as I reshape this nation, one word at a time, in this debate of core political speech.

Almost everyone’s political views are to the Left of Attila the Hun, because Attila the Hun is so far to the Right. Yet you seem to think everyone who is not on the extreme Right is a Communist. That is ridiculous.

However, people who believe this never allow reality to interfere with their ideology. They are Blind Deaf Aphids who look around them and mistakenly think that almost everyone is a Communist.

They have 15% of their portfolio in Facebook, a measly 225K shares at a cost of $6M where the outstanding shares of Facebook stand at 2.4B. Interestingly they changed their name from NeXt Financial to GSVC because of a familiar firm by the “similar” name of Next Financial. I know a broker at the latter but the former trades at a premium to NAV on the premise of egregious social media valuations. While I acquiesce to those who participated in the rapid bidding of so-called irrational exuberance on the nazcrack, I myself find it difficult to purchase such nonsense. I am thinking about what makes Facebook and what are the actual social influences that make it popular. There must be public companies that exhibit analogous behavior, without the present glamor. I shall have my pelts.

Hate on FBOOK all you want. They got it at a discount and it will go higher in valuation, upon ipo.

I understand. I’m just trying to quantify upside potential. Obviously there is some transparent secondary market for private companies, and accordingly GSVC’s NAV (all else excluded) with the +$5/sh increase should only put them up about 2.2% or so. I understand the premise of the thesis, it’s a vehicle for Facebook. It was up 11% today (GSVC). I’m just positing, what else does this trend influence?
