Unless this Greece vote fails, the EEM emerging market sector is set to go up at least another 10% by end of summer. That would drag the SPY sandp500 back to pre-osama highs.
The weakest sector of the EEM is FXI China. However, China has been holding well, in spite of massive China tech stock crashes , and a 5 month Yuan rally. Either of those 2 catalysts should have caused a shanghai crash. Never happened.
Unless the bears can produce a scare story that specifically targets the EEM nations, the sell off is done. Would need something major, like a failure of one of those dams in china. Being that they are made of cardboard and string, I can’t rule that possibility out.
