I am witnessing a lot of bottoming action in tech names, mainly because sentiment is so poor. Unlike the recent drop in commodity shares, many tech names have been depressed for 3-4 months now. They are, without a doubt, pricing in calamity. It my estimation, much of the panic is entirely unwarranted.
Let’s presume number needs to come down a bit. That’s doesn’t mean share prices are set to cascade, fuckface. Take a name like CREE or BRCM. Both of those stocks have priced in China declaring war on France, enslaving the cheese class to a life inside insidious iPAD factories, managed by the brown shirts at FOXCONN. I am real close to buying a basket of tech stocks, focusing on the semis. Additionally, I like the banks here. Call me a gorilla with a long cock, but I think the regionals deserve some investment dollars, particularly in the Southwest region of the U.S.
The Greeks will kick the proverbial can down the road so that their fucking grandkids can foot the bill. That’s what we fucking do here, son. @Jake – Romney is still polling well. If he can make it through the primaries, I think he would have the best chance among the Republicans to have a close race with the President. Yes, even with the RomneyCare (TM) baggage. I thought Bachman was doing well since she brought Ed Rollins on board, but yesterday’s John Wayne “gaffe” still shows she will be under the “Michelle Misspoke Microscope”, probably until the field narrows after New Hampshire. Not sure what Perry’s entry would do to either Mitt’s or Michelle’s chances.

Politics is the act of voting for the “other guy” over and over again so that policy changes back and forth, meanwhile fucking any business over that tries to create a job as they cannot plan a business under the assumption that there is a set tax rate or set government funding, or money constantly flowing to one particular type of consumer…. because for all they know the government will change their mind every 4 years. Starting a business here has been like signing an adjustable rate mortgage where the interest rate is set higher whenever the bank “feels like it”. It’s not that taxes are as evil as we think, as long as there is a set amount of taxes some businesses can build a plan around it, but when the plan on 30% and all of a sudden it’s 40% they aren’t prepared for not only their payments, but how consumer taxes and the corresponding government spending and inflation effects the consumer and the prices of goods.
