They showed us movies in Drivers Ed in High School called Signal 29 (or 30-can’t recall, it was about 1967) that were as brutal as the above video, however, they also showed the bodies.
They had titles like “Mechanized Death” and were shown to try and scare the Hell out of us.
About two years later many ended up in Vietnam and saw much worse.
