Let me be the first to tell you, something is afoot. Every since my bathroom got sucked into a sinkhole, the market has been going lower. Today, we were putting the finishing touches on my new lavish bathroom, only waiting for a shipment from California (my vanity) to complete the room. Fed Ex Freight arrived around 10am and delivered what was supposed to be a glorious vanity, with all of the trimmings one would expect from purchasing bathroom items from a first class vendor. Upon opening the crate I was dismayed to find the marble counter top to be in fucking pieces, practically ground into dust, mocking the very fabric of my existence. I ordered the Fed Ex hack to “take this back to California.” And now the completion of my bathroom hangs in the balance, as I am looking at a delay of at least 2 weeks.
I am cursed by demons; I realize that now. I know the only thing you cock suckers care about is the status of my WNR. But then again, you’re all degenerate deviants, unable to think, let alone manage financial risk.
In case you haven’t noticed, the market is weak. While it’s true, I have been advocating ownership of refiners. It’s also true that I’ve been incredibly cautious, holding more than half of my liquid assets in cash and treasuries. If you are unable to purchase more than one stock at a time or hold cash for periods longer than 2 hours, you should leave this site now, else risk inevitability: rapid mustache removal by fist. I would like to see my silver stocks trade higher. However, the silver metal is plagued by demons too. Therefore, I will hold onto ZSL for the intermediate term.

The Aussie and the loonie are both part of the risk trade Speculators use low yielding US dollars to buy commodity currencies (FXA / FXC), commodities, and US stocks. When the USD is sold, it weakens, and a weakened USD runs inversely to the market. On the other hand, when stocks, commodities and commodity currencies get deleveraged, a dollar short squeeze is born and the USD firms.
I’m looking at ERF and KOG. They’s been whacked lately, but their fundamentals are solid. ERF just made bank with a major sale and KOG smells like a potential takeover candidate for one of the bigs. Unfortunately, as we are finding out with the refiners and miners, a rigged market is not all that impressed with sound fundamentals.
The problem with the “Stocks must follow what the FXE and FXA does” argument is this:
If it was so simple to predict euro and aussie dollar moves, thats all anyone would trade. Every major trader would dump all other assets, and just play forex ping-pong all day.

i do that with germany, first thing i look at when i wake up no matter what time, is on home page,le market centre.we mirror them the most. before open. last 3 weeks have been dead on. equity wise, but if your into fx thats different. the aussie trade in fx has seemed to be the place to be from some fx traders i’ve known. more wins.

I don’t know if you can find this granite around there or not but the most beautiful chunk of rock I ever laid my eyes on was called Volga Blue. I comes from along the Volga River in Russia…….go figure……
It’s predominantly black but has silver dollar size iridescent blue “spangles” in it, for lack of a better word, that mostly remain hidden until you move and the light catches them differently. It is awesome in a room with sunlight that moves across it at different hours of the day.
