When you have deep pockets though it’s a lot easier to be the worst trader in the world and still make money. Say silver goes down to 25 and you are Mr. Bow Tie. Well, you just average down then, because you are floating in bucks. As long as silver goes up over the next decade, you are OK. The rest of us can’t trade it that way.
Exactly. Rogers already made his wealth and is eating on China for the rest of his life pretty much no matter what. He can take a long term position, hang in there, make maybe 150 percent on a Billion and life goes on. Those who trade for survival or a future are in a different boat. I enjoy hearing what he has to say, though.

Um.. maybe you didn’t notice. The market is margin call city lately due to margin requirements going up on crude and silver. Margin call usually means you have to sell stuff to pay for it, or your broker sells it for you. Doesn’t matter if the stuff you’re selling is “cheap” or “expensive.”
