Don’t get it. Can’t be. I must be a MOron. See nothing here about LNG, collecting, moving, using. Weekend hyperbole surrounding the notion all marine engines will be LNG powered, LNG substitute for nuclear fuel in power generation, LNG makes coal soooo 20th century and yet, not one fook’n word on this list. Ah, no technical play yet? Even so, peeking at GLNG, LNG, TGP and more. Would even like some Wäertsilä if I could buy a Finnish company on the Oslo Exchange.

Uranium futures are already back up to where they were. Loving it!!
Why not? The fact that the world will be building few if any new nukes;
and many of those in operation will be shut down; and Japan won’t be
able to work their power plant site for a decade- Uranium is a GREAT buy.
Let me examine these assumptions.
“The fact that the world will be building few if any new nukes”: WRONG. But they will continue to be built to stricter codes and designs than were implemented 40 years ago.
“Many of those in operation will be shut down”: WRONG. A few in Germany and elsewhere. We’re talking maybe 20 or 30 shut down out of 500 in the next decade. There are more than 58 currently under construction globally. Almost all of Canada’s uranium exports for example are sold directly to China on decade plus contracts. I hope a lot of the old reactors do get shut down. But these will be insignificant in uranium demand as new reactors need a lot more initial uranium than old ones need for maintenance.
“Japan won’t be able to work their plant site for a decade”: WRONG. Millenia at this locality. It’s FUBAR beyond timescales you can easily imagine. But the rest of them should be alright until they can be slowly replaced by newer reactors in a controlled manor.
“Uranium is a GREAT buy”: CORRECT.

Saw lots of articles this weekend predicting the end of the world is coming in 2011.
Almost as many articles as I saw about new Internet stock bubbles.
But both of these events are quite believable when compared to the craziest prediction I heard…the Mets winning the World Series…now you’re friggin nuts.
It’s really not so far fetched, Mr. Shark Bait.
