Today, small cap oil is up. But that is not a safe haven. I expect the price of oil to trade lower. I expect everything but refiners, treasuries and the dollar to trade down.
In summary, the safe havens are refiners, treasuries and the dollar.

I don’t know near enough to invest in this market and I am not the gambler to get involved, but these kind of events are opportunities for huge new fortunes to be made (and lost).
We are in a world of change right now and if you are smart and very lucky these are game changing times. I am surprised that that the usual denizens of this forum are choosing to sit on the sidelines for a while and not trying to take advantage of these once in a lifetime events.

He may have had a gain, had he sold it right at the open the day after he bought it. But chances are he lost a few bucks on it.

Eventually someone will look at value vs. stock price and things will get a bit more rational. Are we there yet? I clearly have no idea as I bought in after 25-35% drops (instead of 35-50%). But I will say this: SP in uranium stocks will recover a lot above current levels eventually. Which I realize doesn’t interest day traders, but there you have it.
Cameco is the big honkin’ producer that has signed monstrous contracts with China. They are like Exxon during the fall from $140/bbl to $32/bbl. Stock barely got pushed off. But anyone who bought the little oil companies in the middle of Phobos and Deimos (Fear and Panic) which are incidentally the names of Mars’s moons, MADE A FUCKIN FORTUNE SINCE THEN!!
Right now it’s uranium.
