CORN ON THE COCKS!

Some mysterious blog posted some pictures of a CAGC factory (THE TOMATOES ARE NO GOOD) and morons headed for the exits, creating a funnel. The end result: shares of anything trading in China got God-smacked, including CHBT and more notably for me BORN. Over the past several weeks, I’ve diluted the importance of BORN in my portfolios by spending all available cash on other longs; but it still stings. I am currently down 12% on the position and it is illiquid. Meaning: if I sell the stock, the price will not sustain current levels. Good thing I have a head like a bag of stones. I will stay in the stock until it goes to zero. If these assholes can’t make a living off getting people without morals drunk, then life is a lie.

In other news, I bought size in GNK and IPI, into the bell. All in all, today was a wash, up less than 0.5%, thanks to gains in VCLK, MOS, AGU, ATPG, KEG and BZ.

I look forward to enjoying yet another fun filled day in retardville, with you morons, tomorrow.

A not so great brains to balls ratio made me start a small position in BORN this afternoon.

$24 takeover just around the corner, still 25% upside available.

So I go to check my mail today (it’s a rural type box as I live on three acres of woods) and got a surprise when I opened up the door.
An Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake was coiled up in it as I reached for the mail.
Scared the crap out of me.
I went and got a long pole as well as parked a running car nearby.
With the pole I knocked it out, got in the car, and ran it over about six times (back and forth).
Most excitement I have had all month (not counting Jan. where I had an emergency root canal and the pump in my well went out).

It is a bricked box and the mail drops from the top to the bottom where there is a door that swings open in order to retrieve the mail. The snake probably got in through the gap in the bottom door and was probably trying to stay warm at night (been in the low 50s- high 40s).
And then there was the Black Bear that actually picked up my gas grill (including a full tank of propane) and turned it upside down trying to get to the food it smelled on the grates from the burgers I grilled for dinner.

You have black bears in Florida? Did you keep the snake for a boot / hat / bikini -maker?

“Solar flare to jam Earth’s communications

A powerful solar eruption that has already disturbed radio communications in China could disrupt electrical power grids and satellites used on Earth in the next days, NASA said.

“X-class flares are the most powerful of all solar events that can trigger radio blackouts and long-lasting radiation storms,” disturbing telecommunications and electric grids, NASA said.”

    ===================================================================

    Billy Meier, Contact 476 – Feb 3, 2009

Billy: Regarding the Mayan calendar it must be said that the year 2012 will bring a whole series of quite special events, to which the central star of our system, our sun, will contribute its share, because on the sun’s surface violent outbursts will occur and sun storms are caused, which will be very intense and will influence Earth’s geomagnetic balance.

Through the very strong X-rays falling down on Earth, the magnetic field can suffer from very strong fluctuations. And through geomagnetic storms, power supplies and all electronic appliances can collapse, also those in the satellites, and the ISS may also suffer great damage or may even have a complete (power) failure. Such solar storms may lead to enormous natural catastrophes, and in a worst-case scenario, to a polarity reversal of the Earth’s magnetic field. What has to be said also is that such solar storms are forming up to a climax in an exact rhythm of eleven years, which is a normal occurrence, but in the year 2012 it may happen in an extraordinary magnitude. The Earth will fall victim to a very strong bombardment of hard radiation, which may have a very negative effect on the Earth’s ozone layer.

X-class are not astonishingly rare. Last one was 2006, and it was bigger than this one. The next “1859 Carrington event” is the one to fear.

As to Billy’s comments, I’d like to see his solar model. Watching the movie 2012 is not “good credentials”.

“In 2012 a giant potato will rise up from the earth (In Idaho), and fight the giant potato from Prince Edward Island. The cataclysm will probably boil most of the oceans, rendering the potato combatant overlords well salted and delicious. According to the Mayans.”

    BEIJING, Feb. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ —

China New Borun Corporation (NYSE: BORN; “Borun” or the “Company”), a leading producer and distributor of corn-based edible alcohol in China, today announced that the Company has signed two letters of intent with parties in Sichuan province.

Under the two pre-sale letters of intent, the Company expects to provide 6,500 tons edible alcohol per month starting from the second quarter of 2011 to its customers in Sichuan province, accounting for over 15% of Borun’s expanded total production capacity in 2011.
