Like organized religion, it takes a little bit of faith and a lot of crazy to fully believe. You can’t half ass it, with regards to your devotion to your human savior, Benjamin Bernanke. If you are going to be a member of his church, you need to fully commit yourself, like I have, and buy stocks with reckless abandon.
The January effect is fully “in effect” and the Federal Reserve will make sure it will be a memorable one.
Gather around, small plebs of America, and witness the spectacle better known as “the stock market” melt the fuck higher this week, to the amazement and chagrin of the “zero-hedged” bearshit crowd.

“Beneath” and its derivative Apes movie kin was an annual (at least) stalwart for WABC (7)’s “4:30 Movie” in the New York broadcast metro, and the 4;30 (weekdays) Movie was an after-school staple for us growing up…
They used to do whole “weeks” at a time, like “Monster Week” where it would be all Frankenstein, Werewolf, Mummy, Dracula, etc… and then there’d be “Godzilla Week” (one of my faves) which had all manner of the Big Lizard and his various spinoffs (Gamera, the Nice Guy Flying Giant Turtle was my favorite) and of course “Planet of the Apes” week.
I think of all this good cultural information my own kids are missing with all these endless sports practices and academic addenda, and I just sigh for their loss.
