Amazing Neighbor Fly. I believe your great grandfather knew my great grandfather. Chatzkel. Chatzkel came from Eastern Europe and settled in the Lower East Side of New York. He opened one of the first bagel shops.
My Grandfather Avrum used to tell me stories about Chatzkel. One was about a Mafia person by the name of Great Grandpa Fly who would come by the bagel shop once a month for protection money.
