Actually, it was. In my estimation, they did the reverse split to protect the underlying stocks from getting overly punished when they fall. Of course, nothing is going to save the underlying companies though. They are all debt laden bullshit entities that deserve to go under.

Try this for dinner, I made it up a couple days ago:
Toasted-hazelnut crusted tilapia topped with olive oil roasted tomatoes and a dollop of pesto (basil, parmesan, toasted pinenuts, olive oil, s+p). For sides, blanched and pan seared fennel and string beans. For the beans cook chopped onions and also toast almonds, then take out and cook beans. Add garlic when beans soften, then add onions and almonds back in and add sherry. Cook down and finish with lemon juice. It’s really good.
