Truth Be Told

Since I’ve been “flat” on the market, 30% long, 15% [[TLT]] , 10% [[VXX]] . 45% cash, I’ve been as happy as a pig in New Orleans. I don’t know about you fuckers, but this business grinds you down until you feel like going postal on people. Most of you cannot share my sentiments because you are either too young or too damn small to matter. Truth be told, over the past 3 years, this market has taken 10 years of my life, via stress and silent strokes and shit. I may not reveal my true emotions to you fuckers, because that shit is gay. But know this: I take my job very seriously and would rather forgo upside, in favor of safety—especially if I thought there was a risk to the market— every fucking time.

Some of you have such small brains. Frankly, you remind me of small dogs or pitbulls, with all of your herky-jerky mannerisms. Let’s take my position in [[TLT]] to task, shall we?

I am down a STAGGERING 1.8%, after dividends, okay. Forget about what you believe will happen to long bonds 6-12 months from now and look at the recent performance. Although you may think they are getting crushed, they are not. In fact, considering the amount of speculative fervor out there, I contend, [[TLT]] is behaving exactly as it should—counter-risk. Should the market dip, mark my words, [[TLT]] will outperform. So, it is a hedge. Get it? Good.

Granted, the [[VXX]] thing was just stupid. But, keep in mind, I did not think the market was going higher. So, essentially, I called the market WRONG, but ended up MAKING money, during this recent melt-up. How did I manage to do that? Very simple: proper asset allocation.

My long positions more than made up for the decline in [[VXX]] , AND MORE. With [[TLT]] basically flat, I managed to squeak out a few percent to the upside, despite calling the market wrong.

Hence the term applies: “The Fly” wins all the time, even when he is losing.

On a website related note, I am bringing on a good friend of mine, Mr. Bones, who will school you piker brokers how to raise big money. I know the site has big viewership amongst America’s finest brokerage houses. And, sadly enough, most of you don’t know how to properly grow your businesses. Mr. Bones will attempt to school you on how to acquire large assets.

With my money, I am digging the action in [[TAN]] and Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. [[BRCD]] , while rooting for the bad guys to grow some balls and bring this sucker down to the ground.

Vxx will you sell it are do you expect the market to go lower as the housing tax credit ending shakes the market lower. Possibly because media will make it known. What will happen if stuff.?

Dr. Fly – Do you really think explaining your thesis again and again to those feeble minded twits will really help them? It’s like trying to convert Devil Dog.

So I decided to go to the ZZ Top concert last night at the iBankCoin Centre For The Arts and got a seat in the Devildog Memorial Balcony Section.
I was surrounded by dead people but still had a good time, mostly by throwing hot coffee and pizza slices at the aristocrats and elite down in the First Tier.
Any chance of buying an NBA or NHL team and bringing them to the Centre?

      How did ZZ do?

Aristocrats and elite (aka stoners) at a ZZ Top show. Good one!
And DD is here under an assumed name and banking as a bull.

It was a good show with the best part coming when Fly took the stage wearing a long fake beard, hat, and sunglasses and then singing Sharp Dressed Man.
That was when the audience (not the PPT crowd in the First Tier; they were too busy chanting FIG) began to throw bowls of hot oatmeal at the stage.

  7. HuggieBear

HuggieBear has decided to enter several speculative short positions this morning, based on the sole premise that this market is comprised of bullshit.

SCO, SDS, short HOG, short WYNN and more to come.

Something wicked is coming this way. I can smell it.

It’s called the VAT tax and I can smell it too.
Sure glad much of my useful production years are over as most wage earners will be working for the “man” in D.C.

Your useful spending years will be for the “man” as well. I’ll be stockpiling beans for the black (sans cream & sugar) market.

Fuck Mr. R. W. Pelican. The Fly is a granite mountain amongst little piles of pebbles. Investor A pulls back whilst expecting a correction. Investor B rides the horse right until the market actually pulls back several percent and then he sells off. Investor B beats Investor A, no?

  11. FIG

Unfortunately for Le Fly, he is too self centered to be willing to look at stocks mentioned by others in his blog. While he continues to waver on the market, I continue to print my own money. ES is up yet again, only 3% today. Of course, it is up 15% from where I bought it, and headed much higher. The thing simply cannot and will not trade down at all. But keep playing your TLT and miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime, see if I care.

    Looking forward to Mr. Bones.

On a side note, maybe you should also create VCtwits. It would be great, filled with comments like:

“I just ate a whole apple, YUM! Can I have $36M for a virtual toilet bowl cleaner? Burp.”

“Eww, just saw a worm on the sidewalk. Need HNW partner for startup $ for social networking site where men can lift weights in front of webcams and impress other men watching.”
