Those pop up charts from freestockcharts.com have been fucked for a couple of days now.
Do they even realise there is a problem?
i don’t see a problem – what are you seeing?
Hover ur mouse over a ticker in Fly post above, eg :AMED:
The chart that appears states “unable to show chart”
Some will see issues some will not.
On a mac..I always see the appl chart. (probably the default one that is displayed) for 25 seconds or so until the chart of the stock you are supposed to see.
on a windows box I see various issues depending on OS and Browser.
Such is the life of developing software.
how do you get rid of the software on a mac as i find it irritating.
J,
Are you referring to the “charting software”.
(the “silverlight” window that loads when you roll over a stock ticker.)
If so..follow these instructions.
http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/resources/RemovePlugInMac.aspx
I could send you the linux commands for uninstalling it via a terminal window..however I do not know how your environment is setup. So..not a good idea as I don’t want you to corrupt your filesystem.
Apologies, but the best advice I can offer is the above.
