Still Cash Rich
Despite the market run, I still have more than 25% in cash. However, I am very tempted to go long a variety of oil/gas stocks, due to their laggard status. Precious metals have stolen the spotlight, as of late, leaving the oil and gas space on the shelf.
I like to do things in differently, so I will not target the who’s who of the sector. Instead, I will buy names that are under the radar, that have immense short positions.
Here is my list:
ATP Oil & Gas Corporation (ATPG: 18.52 0.00%) , Berry Petroleum Company (BRY: 28.62 0.00%) , Continental Resources, Inc. (CLR: 41.04 0.00%) , Forest Oil Corporation (FST: 27.51 0.00%) , GMX Resources Inc. (GMXR: 9.52 0.00%) , SandRidge Energy Inc. (SD: 7.48 0.00%) and W&T Offshore, Inc. (WTI: 8.83 0.00%)
You left out FTK - Flotek Industries, Inc. (Public, NYSE:FTK).

Oil is moving only because Dollar is sinking. Financial and small caps are lagging. Market won’t go up without them.
There are good oil stocks, but I’d go for large cap. XOM doesn’t look bad…
Dollar looks very interesting here. And the market is hardly doing anything.

On the premise that all those fellas over there on Wall Street believe in the old “Reagan Tinkle Down Theory,” I am sending my resume to Mr. Blankfien over there at the GS Tower of Babel for start up again of position of RESTROOM CUSTODIAN. My military experience gives me expertise in shining shoes, and I have been on HSN daily obtaining different fragances to dole out at .25 per dab! I am also very capable of handing out fresh towels with a smile! Further I do not mind the ever present essence of urinal nor do I mine the odor of fat white man farts from rich French cuisine and expensive old bottles of wine.

We all have alot to be thankful for this past year (bank very kindly took my overpriced house off my hands!)and to express hope for the coming future.
