SWEEP THE LEG!

Don’t fuck with Le Fly, while he is drinking his Monster Energy soda (blue can) and smacking his trader/servants— in the face— with wet towels.

I made more money today, as you wilted away, like iceburg lettuce in a sauna.

Into the bell, I dipped my beak in more Flotek Industries, Inc. [[FTK]] , not really giving a fuck about what any of you think. So you know, I have a spectacular weekend planned, much better (fancier) than your pumpkin picking ass.

As for you other bloggers and website operators: You don’t know how to deal with mobs. Your website is full of worthless information. It’s like Monday morning garbage. If you want to learn how to blog or how to make your blog a success: watch me if you can, copy me if you dare.

Over the weekend, I will give a summary of my recent moves and future market strategy, only for the gracious people of The PPT, mainly because their IQ’s tend to be much higher and they don’t piss me the fuck off like many of you milk carton fuckers do.

Top pick: POSCO (ADR) [[PKX]]

Given the very close proximity of uptrend closing high’s for the S&P and the Nasdaq Composite, next week in general and Monday in particular set up as very important. Both the Dow Industrials and the Russell 2k made new closing uptrend high’s today. Also, the NYSE Adv/Dec line made another higher high today and the ARMS index is slightly above neutral so both say we have room to go on to uptrend closing high’s next week for all the indexes. Would feel better if Senor Mosca could humor the mob and tell us the most recent PPT composite score or at least tell us if it’s closer to 2.2 or 3.0. Muchas gracias.

Jake to answer your question from an earlier post– yes I am still bearish. That doesn’t mean that I am stepping in front of this train. I have been on the sidelines in mostly cash and a few select longs that have made me money like HYG, GLD, ISLN, KLIC, BPL and a few other small caps. The optimisim in the market is too high. When everybody thinks alike everybody is likely to be wrong. This is nothing but the Great Cover Up. The biggest shell game known to man is being played right in front of all the fools eyes. The curtains will be pulled and when they are the shit will hit the fan. I don’t know if it will be a month from now or 6 months from now but I will be ready. When I feel that the turn has taken place then I will be shorting the banks, shorting the SPY and buying the SRS if it is still around. In the mean time I feel comfortable sitting this rally out and holding and trading a few longs to keep me interested in the game. Let’s see what the holiday season looks like. Unemployment will hit 12% the Demoncrats will lose seats but the republicrats are no better. The idiots on the hill think we can fix the credit bubbkle with more debt and more easy money. Isn’t that what got us into this mess in the first place! They have fixed nothing!

    weekend reading etc..

From Citigroup tonight, and kinda interesting:

    ISM Shifts Have Trading Impact
A detailed ISM study yields some highly intriguing trading insights. While credit conditions have proven to be a useful gauge for determining forward industrial activity trends with a nine-month lag, stock prices of certain groups have shown tight relationships with even nearer term indicators. Thus, investors with short-term trading horizons can add the overall ISM diffusion index and many of the specific components within it to their array of markers.
The ISM index correlates closely with various sectors and industry groups. In particular, the Consumer Discretionary, Materials and Industrials sectors tend to move directly in sync with the ISM. More specifically, the Capital Goods industry group correlates well with the ISM index also. Indeed, the ISM index is a good leading indicator, moving ahead of Energy names by three months vs. being a better one-year lead signal for the Utilities sector.
The ISM new orders component leads Energy, Materials and Capital Goods names by three months. In the detailed correlation analysis, it became evident that the Energy, Materials and Capital Goods groups react closely to shifts in new orders and thus the bookings data can be helpful in discerning likely trading trends three months in advance.
The employment component tends to be a strong lead indicator. Fascinatingly, the Energy, Industrials and Capital Goods groups also lag the employment index by three months. Meanwhile, Utilities tend to lag the employment index by full year vs. the Materials, IT and Technology Hardware & Equipment groups, which have a coincident relationship with employment.
The new export orders component was another telling factor. Interestingly, new export orders were another specific item within the index that seemed to provide a three-month trading signal as Energy, Industrials, Materials and Capital Goods registered correlation coefficients that were meaningfully higher than the other sectors and groups. Thus, the directional trend continues to bolster the case for the association between the select cyclicals, the ISM index and its components.
Intriguingly, the ISM price data generated meaningful inverse indicators. While there may be a connection to employment and exports, prices also provided some insight. In particular, the price readings were helpful in future inverse trading patterns for the Retailing and Semis & Semi Equipment names.

there’s more but i won’t completely bore the hell out of you (and take up valued space) ..

    Fly,

Im washed out. All my trades have been bad and I have been down since March despite a ridiculous up-move in the S&P. I’ve lost about 50% of my account.

I took down all of my stock picks. Notice how they have been removed and now I am relegated to posting up youtube videos and such.

I guess I will turn my site into just a general blog about the world and my life. Im done.

Tim Knight sucks. If you followed his blog religiously then he kept you out of the market. You might have even shorted the market based on his advice. I sure hope there is an attorney out there that sues Tim Knight for his awful calls. He must have lost some honest hard working people a lot of cash. Its a serious issue.

The Fly tells it like it is, he has no bias…no axe to grind against the market and a lot of his plays work. They simply work.

I dont respect anyone who loses someone money and thats Tim Knight. Fuck you Tim Knight!

Barron’s speculates on who could bid for Brocade Communications
Brocade Communications (BRCD), maker of networking switches and storage products, is the most attractive takeover target at the data-center dance, says Plugged In columnist Mark Veverka. Brocade sits in the catbird’s seat over NetApp (NTAP), Citrix (CTXS), and Red Hat (RHT), because it has what most full-service enterprise-computing conglomerates covet: storage and networking. At the heart of the strategic chess game is Cisco Systems (CSCO), which dominates the networking industry but is aggressively getting into everyone else’s business. “You are going to see acquisitions in this industry heating up,” CEO John Chambers said last week on the heels of Cisco’s $3B buyout of video-conferencing concern Tanberg. The Wall Street Journal reported that Hewlett-Packard (HP)and Oracle (ORCL) are Brocade’s most likely suitors, which made some sense until Oracle’s boss, Larry Ellison told shareholders at the company’s annual meeting Wednesday that Oracle isn’t interested. That leaves HP, which wants to bolster its network-switching business as it continues to cross swords with Cisco. Additional proprietary storage products also would help fortify it in its battles with IBM (IBM), Dell (DELL) and EMC (EMC). But Barron’s says, one could argue that other companies could pursue Brocade, including IBM, EMC, Dell and even networking rival Juniper Networks (JNPR). Brocade fans argue that the stock has long been undervalued, considering its strategic assets. That’s why going public about being in play was clever, stirring the pot among potential bidders, says Veverka. Through Thursday, Brocade was trading at 16x forward earnings. That’s still cheaper than other networking outfits, such as QLogic (QLGC) with a P/E ratio of 18, and Juniper with 27. Some analysts have pegged a takeout price at $13 to $15 a share, while an institutional investor who owns the stock claims that $18 is possible.

This is just out in Australia and worth considering what could happen in the US alhtough the recession was much, much deeper there.

THE improving economic outlook could see the nation’s Big Four banks start to write back up to $8 billion in bad-debt provisions next year, providing scope for a round of special handouts to shareholders.

That’s a pretty big nut by Australian standards.

ANZ, NAB, CBA, Westpac commonly known to me as Wetpatch. The issue is that they have been literally flying over the past few weeks and the risk reward is going out I think. This could be a harbinger for other banks in the region in Asia (not fucking Japan).

And yes I think they all have ADR’s.I think but not sure about all of them.
