“The Fly” Wins Again

There are two things I know for sure:

1. School buses should not have that little stop sign on the side, fucking up the traffic behind it.

2. “The Fly” wins all the time, even when it appears more wins are impossible.

It’s not like I’ve been a little bit hot. Dude, I’ve been middle of a live volcano, while gasoline rain drops from above, type of hot—for years, jackoff. I am “IVAN THE INFERNO” of this stock game, while you’re just some guy.

Look here, pal, I nailed the crash of 2008, shorting everything from LEH to LM down to the ground. Fast forward a few months, into ’09, I nailed the reversal and have been minting coin since.

Do not try to duplicate what I am able to do, since I am a space alien magician, not from your world. Where I come from, people walk with their brains and shoot people in the face for Vintage, 1991, Colt 45 (Billy Dee Williams Edition) Malt Liquor aka “Earth Juice.” So don’t come here, to my site, iBankCoin, acting like you know how to play the market—none of you do. Even you hedge fund managers, mutual fund losers, you all can suck on my fumes.

No one, in all of the world, is better than Senor Tropicana. Never ever forget that.

More importantly, I am up more than 3% today, on the backs of Flotek Industries, Inc. [[FTK]] , TEKELEC [[TKLC]] , DryShips Inc. [[DRYS]] , POSCO (ADR) [[PKX]] , Yamana Gold Inc. (USA) [[AUY]] , Homex Development Corp. (ADR) [[HXM]] , Aracruz Celulose SA (ADR) [[ARA]] and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (ADR) [[TEVA]] —just to name a few.

Into the bell, I am holding all of my longs. I do not feel like selling; therefore, I will do nothing of the sort.

From the dregs of the Internet swamplands where goblins and trolls cackle over candlestick drippings and broken teacup handles, arose a man greater in stature than his grotesque lolligagging peers.

In his moth ridden orange and yellow clothes, he was the sole individual who possessed the veracity to take that which could be taken, with complete austere.

Resounding wins and thunderously bold market calls shook the codas from the lines of sheet music in the Gods’ Parthenons and caused the mustache hairs of less diminutive men to tremble.

Ordained, “The Fly,” by ethereal godsends, he blitzkreiged past the quivering Maginot Line where cycloptic fortune tellers, twit-twats, and obese fear-rapt men assembled.

For slaying his decrepit and abominable foes, The Gods graciously bestowed upon his winship the malt-nectar of complete preponderance and market domination, 9% ABV, naturally.

Now he stands on the marble steps of ascendance, arms akimbo, and revels over the moniker and state of winship he must defend, drunk as fuck.

that’s smart. Just like smart money. Up 3% on a fucked up dollar that could reverse at any time while economy is still fucked and all based on b.s. AA earnings game.

Unless you have forgotten, Armageddon part 2, a.k.a. option ARM loans more or less guarantee that quantitative easing will persist, unless the Fed is interested in seeing all of their hard work light back on fire and blaze into a smoldering pile of shit. So why not stay long? The fun with the dollar hasn’t even hit the climax of the show yet.

Look, he can top Mensa and build a reactor in his back yard but he can’t trade for shit and lies about it. It’s as simple as that.

He’s now saying that he’s been bullish all along. He leaves all these contradictory piles of crap on his site that gives him the opportunity to pluck up various things he’s said in the past and then say, “I told you so”.

If the market was going down and he was bullish it would simply be a mirror image of what he’s say now.

That link is an Australian newspaper by the way written by their SF correspondent. Who told the reporter he was a member of mensa.? Did he confirm it or did Timmy just tell him he was? We know how honest he is, so why not assume that isn’t a fib, as been building up lies all along?

I certainly wasn’t buying anything in that article, back then anybody under the age of 20 who could turn on a computer was everybody’s wunderkind. Just the fact that a kid could make a few dollars doing something other than mowing the lawn was mind-blowing to people. The talented ones made a pile of money and the others got the bacon drippings. Imagine the demons this guy must have pimping himself so hard as a kid and then never living up to the hype. He’s supposedly at that nexus with all the legends (Gates, Jobs etc) and 20 years later they are wiping their asses with money and he’s trolling around blogs all day.

Fly is correct as usual, so don’t be too quick to take profits or go short …

    The latest update from OEW:

“The Major wave A uptrend Mar-Jun consisted of seven waves, with each rising wave impulsive and each declining wave corrective. In EW terms this is a double zigzag 5-3-5-x-5-3-5. To simplify counts in OEW we label the first 5-3-5 as an A wave, the x as a B wave, and the second 5-3-5 as a C wave. Now we are in the second uptrend from the SPX 667 low. This uptrend has already completed a 5-3-5-x-5-3 in EW terms, or an ABab in OEW terms. Since every rising wave continues to remain impulsive, just as before. We’re expecting this final Minor wave C, (to complete Intermediate wave C, Major wave C and Primary wave B), to also be impulsive. Thus far it looks like we’re still in the first wave up of a five wave advance from SPX 1020.”

Ah-ha-ha!!! Apparently they are trying to predict the waves rather than ride them … lots of OEW guys have been anticipating a drop for some time now and some have payed the piper for not waiting for corroboration …. surprised you don’t use it some Jake with your interest in charts, fibs, pivots etal.

No doubt it can FTK one up if you are too eager to react to the wave counts as they don’t always pan out as expected (ABC, Zigzag, Diagonal, Impulse, Failed, etc) … that’s why I went to cash for some time but now feel comfortable reallocating that money with the confidence that we have a lengthy leg ahead of us. As Fly says, sometimes you just have to do nothing and go eat a sandwich ….

I’m still a long term bear, and while enjoying the banking of coin on this counter move, haven’t changed my mind on a double dip as of yet. Cross that bridge when we come to it, I guess …

Meanwhile, the PM’s have reacted as anticipated with the falling $ and you have predicted the $ movement in a space alien magician way. I’ve read/heard a lot of stuff about the $ rebounding and gold sell offs in Oct-Nov historically. I know you are in the LT bull gold camp but what’s your thinking at this juncture …. keep buying the dips or wait for a decent sell off before reloading?

MVG is a late bloomer and one to be considered upon consolidation as it is very cheap and has the potential to provide rewarding updates to their reserves. (I have no position in this yet)

They’ve been proclaiming “the top is in” since 700 on the SPX but we’ve all seen that. The best part is what they come up with each step of the way to justify the latest failure to drop.

I’ve seen astrology references… some shit about Mars being in the House of Saturn during a lunar eclipse on a Wednesday. Another guy counted the number of days between the 1929 crash and the 1987 crash, then pulled a number out of his ass to divide that number of days by… added the result to another obscure interval and came up with a day that was within 3 days of the time of his post. Needless to say dude went all in. This guy no longer posts over there so I can only assume he offed himself or is locked up in debtor’s prison.

But even those were not my favorites. No, so far my favorite has been the correlation of the SPX to recent earthquake activity. These mensas have some how correlated magnitude, latitude and longitude of earthquakes to fluctuations in the market. Think they threw in some sort of Gaussian regression, partial differential equation matrix subjugated to a polynomial least squares fit curve shit just to really prove this shit was on the up-and-up.

Sad thing is one day some idiot over there is actually going to nail the top. When that happens he’ll probably write a book, open his own blog and coax hundreds of people into worshipping him. I think we’ll call him Tim.

For fucks sake, what is wrong with those idjits? The Pimp is going to make things very easy and perfectly clear for slope of dope fiends… when you look at your pretty charts with 10,000 lines on it focus carefully on one thing. If the price is moving from lower left to upper right, go long. If it’s moving upper left to lower right, go short. That is probably a lot more effective than basing market direction calls on migration patterns of Brazilian fruit flies. But I could be wrong.

After reading bucket brigade and Teahouse on the Tracks comments above I went back into the PPT and reviewed all of Fly’s posts during March.

His blogs are bullish again and again, even as he is careful to coach his members how to minimize risk.
Just one of numerous examples is below. I chose this one as it was right after March 7 lows.

From his blog post on March 8 on the PPT:
“I have another bearish commercial Re report ready. However, I do not want to post it yet, due to my gut feeling we are set to rally.”

The PPT engine itself (which he developed) zeroed in on the bottom– having a rating of 2.2 on March 5. Again and again it demonstrates “time to buy” around 2.2 and “time to sell” around 3 ever since its inception. As members of PPT we are able to use this with ever increasing confidence of buy and sell points.

As a new trader who has primarily focused on studying the last year and determining by my own observations who has actually been accurate for the most part and who has not– I pay subscriptions to only two places for now– the (Fly’s) PPT and Bill Fleckenstein’s “market rap”.

I went through many months of following Tim Knight’s blog and other bearish blogs while simultaneously following ibc bloggers. If I had any bias over the last year, it was definately bearish, as I couldn’t understand how the market could rally with such underlying fragility on so many levels in the economy. I lost plenty of money buying FAZ while caught up in a very strong bear bias. It took me continuing to look at things from a perspective of “ok, but again, which bloggers/investors are actually more accurate in calling out what will happen and provide specific strategies for successful trades” to have Fly and his team validated again and again.

From my perspective, if one wants to make money trading, there is such strength in Fly’s current team of bloggers– and from his co-owner of ibc John Lee’s teachings (Chart Addict)- that one can put together a very successful plan for day, swing, or longer term trading by pulling teachings and strategies from the bloggers on ibc. Then, for actually minimal money, if you add the PPT subscription, you not only get to follow real time trades of a whole other group of very strong traders, but you get to use the PPT engine. And now that it is showing itself to be so reliable to call buy and sell points with the average hybrid scores, it gets “easier” (less risky) and easier to have successful trades.

I don’t have any agenda other than to identify and show respect to those who have been quite accurate and helpful for my family’s investments, and to share what I’ve found to be helpful for making money in a difficult environment for a newbie like myself. I bear no ill will to Tim Knight at all, and find that several of the commentors on his blog are very savvy traders that I personally have learned from.

Lindsay – Nice comment. It would have made a good PG post. Picking bottoms and tops is the toughest and probably the least effective use of a trader’s effort. Being on the “right” side of the market and using appropriate risk management techniques, is far more important.

The thing that separates iBankCoin from the “third tier” is the quality of the bloggers and the traders who comment here. I’ve checked out some of the other blogs to see what the “other side of the trade” is thinking, with a couple of notable exceptions (DT being one of them), there’s not much there except opinions and “wrong headedness”. I like to know what the other side of my trade is thinking. Only one of us is right in any particular time frame.

I’m carefully watching my equity curve to see when it will be time to stand aside or switch to the bear side. It will always tell me when I’m on the wrong side of the market: If I’m making money my opinions and positions are correct. If I’m losing money I MAY be doing something wrong, or my opinion may be wrong. It’s easier to know if you are right than if you are wrong.

The Fly changes direction faster than a gecko chameleon [sic], when warranted by conditions – a real asset.
The Fly has no trouble changing from bull to bear and back within days. He’ll say he plans to hold a stock for some time, and then sell it after a quick run.
      That’s how mother market works.
      Fly is very nimble.
      Uncommon indeud.
I don’t read iBC because I have time to kill or because I like the Fly’s stories, sense of humor and attitude (even though I do). I read it because his calls and insights are usually right on target.

Not for nothing but if the Obama just won the Nobel Peace Prize, Le Fly should win the science prize for being able to scientifically determine when to buy (2.2ish) and sell(3ish) stocks using his devised PPT a true scientific accomplishment of Nobel proportions.

    I’ll make the formal proposal.

Well, using the same criteria for which Obama won the Peace Prize for (awarded 2 weeks after his inauguration, mind you and only announced now), Fly should win the Nobel Prize in Literature, as he hasn’t written any books yet.

I was surprised at the Nobel Prize announcement. I not sure that “… his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.” is an accomplishment, but rather a tool to get to a goal.

Fly get’s my Nobel vote for the PPT.

The jokers decided on the prize 2 weeks into his presidency. This is fast becoming a prize of low expectations.

      Breaking news…..
Upon hearing about the Nobel peace prize award, the ibc gang rushed the stage and demanded recognition for space aliens, insisting that Fly be immediately given the first ever Nobel “Winship award”.
Taylor Swift was moved to tears by the passion of the ibc’ers and committed to writing her next song (in French) in honor of Le Fly.
