Fuck off and find the news story yourself. What do I look like, some sort of news fetcher?
I am making a point here, people from the internets.
If Bill Miller, retarded money manager from Legg Mason, can bounce back to the tune of 48% in Q2, so can anyone, even armless chimps. I know many of you are down and feel like shooting yourselves in the face with an old howitzers. However, you must keep faith and remember, if Bill Miller and his palsy brain (famous for doubling down in Freddie Mac common just prior to its demise) can boss up to the tune of 48%, penguins can pick up guns and shoot walking pigs and you too can regain all of your lost coin or get your share of the BILLIONS being made on the internet, either or.
You’re welcome for the late night pick-me-up.

You’re like the girlfriend I never had
xoxo
He’s more like a bad tempered wife than a girlfriend. He rarely has a nice word to say about us.
what’s nice to say? I don’t even know you
between miller and terranova, the possibilities are limitless.
I’d like to slap Terranova with a steak.
fly, i find your penchant for slapping people with wet pieces of meat to be strange, yet oddly hilarious.
Let’s see, he loses 60%+ last year…
For fun, lets say he started with 100 bucks, and now has 40.
He uses the 40 he has left and he gains 48%.
So now he has roughly 60 bucks.
Bill Miller is still down 40% from his high. That is one helluva a high water mark!
Indeud!
It’s worse than that, he’s dead Jim.
ok – not quite. But…
48% is 2nd qtr only.
Looks like 26% ytd – still damn good w/SPX holduhs in the red.
Consider the terms: Lynch, Miller, genius, quitter, loser, hero, image.
Fuck Bill Miller, his worthless fund is still off 35% from its inception price.
couple late night things….
Citigroup on:
Semi’s: 2Q09 upside is already factored into shares, But:
Most likely still to beat 2Q09: INTC, IDTI, ALTR, NVDA, CY.
we see modest upside to 3Q09 consensus estimates off higher 2Q results… However, its effect is unlikely to break stocks out of their trading range, given the noticeable earnings momentum already
evident across the group. Most likely still to raise 3Q09: AMD, NVDA, IDTI, INTC.
..we reiterate our view that chip industry revenue forecasts have upside for
the next 1-3 years, leaving us LT positive on the sector. ..we anticipate a shift away from the “beta”
trade, toward higher quality names. Top ideas: NVDA, QCOM, INTC.
CTSH:Target price change, Estimate change, Re-iterate strong call, –reits Buy, raises target to $34
CME: Remains our top pick. CME is the exchange most leveraged
to a financial/capital mkts recovery and should benefit from higher volumes.
We would use any weakness in the stock around softer summer volumes or ELX
to build long positions. Target $375
AA: Maintaining Buy/ High Risk rating. In addition, we see the company undervalued relative to its longer-term sustainable earnings power of $1.13/sh. When Alcoa reports earnings after market close on Wednesday,
we expect the company to post a loss of $0.36/sh compared to the consensus loss estimate of $0.37/sh. Sequentially, losses should narrow compared to the loss of $0.59/sh in 1Q.

UBS upgrades CTL to Buy, Reits Buy on PCS, says pullback is overdone…
Thanks for the info.
Indeud, patience is warranted here, but opportunities lurk as well.

Yep, still dead.
We need some more Asshat of the Week videos.
Inspirational.
Also proof that you can bounce back from an investment disaster,
but not necessarily from a plastic surgery disaster.
Thanks for the pep talk.
Fly,
I dont know what you’re talking about but Miller’s Legg Mason Value Trust is up about 10% this year and 48% from its bottom in March.
You must be looking at his second quarter numbers or something. Miller is a high beta retard. Nothing more.
You must be referring to his opp fund. This piece of crap fund is down 70% from its peak and off 55% over the last 5 years. Granted, its up 26% this year (not 48), but he still sucks a huge cock.
Even a dried up turd bounces when it falls off a cliff….
strangely encouraging. happy
Who will represent iBC on The Plinth?
http://www.oneandother.co.uk/
Has he really bounced back or is it a numerical illusion?
Assume he’s long at 14,000. He loses 52% of that, which leaves him with 6,700. He makes 48% and that takes him to 9,900. he’s still down 30% from the highs. In short Bill Miller is still an asshat… However that was never in dispute judging from Fly’s excellent commentary, who’s really suggesting that if an idiot like Miller can still make money so can pretty much everyone else with the possible exception of Devildog.
I feel better already.. . RE Plinth..The UK has idiots on par with US…WTF has happened to the Anglo Saxon race.. Christ what does the future hold when so many are so adrift
He may have doubled down on Freddie Mac but lets not forget that Barney Frank himself was telling the American people not to worry, that everything was going to be alright.
Obama …never had a paying job in the private sector (outside adjunct professor). J. Biden never had a paying job in the private sector (outside professor). That is all…..
Romney/ Christ 2012
WTF….You make 10 $Mil. you get the house the cars….take care of the family….pay your taxes….then what do you got? You got your dick in your hand. I wasn’t going to let that happen to me. I studied every newsletter for 2 years and then I bought those 4 monitors. Does anybody here own a Lear Jet? Didn’t think so. I have one except its Cleveland right now getting renovated……you know leather and loungers ….plasma’s. Hey, sorry , I have a fax coming in …I’ll talk to you brodicks later.

The Obama administration will be railroaded out of office – or shot at.

AIG now 13.78
Anybody else playing STSI? Stock has volume and is moving nicely again today.
LM went from 130 to under 20 in three years, now 23.43. That’s hard work bouncing back like that.
RE:” Obama is gay fucking goat herder…he should be working in a field in southern Afghanistan…fucking shitweasel socialist…Joe Biden is 95% martini, 5 BS.”
Obamanodyne: doing all the same things the last administration did, but getting shit for it from both sides. Does that mean the Dems and the Reps are essentially just one party? If so: ‘one-party state”, now where have I heard of that before?
America: Socialism for the wealthy. Hell, it seems to me if Obama was an real, bonifide ‘Socialist’ instead of merely a corporate schill, like 99.999999% of all the politicians in your polyarchy, y’ all might be better off.
Letters to the usual address.
GoinFawr…you only dead fucking wrong..well done.
“obamadyne: doing all the same things the last administration did”
you’re clueless.
so far, dow has been getting rejected at the 30 every chance it gets. We get above 8265 and maybe it will stick.
some technical trading notes out there, take ’em for what their worth, thought i’d post ’em:
Technical Analysis story about GOOG: Bearish pattern in progress:
There is an active bearish, inverted, cup and handle pattern on the daily chart. The $400 area is the first downside objective for the pattern. On a breakdown below the $400 area, the next downside objective for the pattern would be to the $370 area. Support levels to watch as potential downside objectives are at $399.82, $392.74, $386.00, $378.12, $372.36. Resistance is at $403.01.
Goldman Sachs: Bearish pattern in progress
There is a double top in progress on the daily chart at the $150 area. First downside is to the $137 area. A move back above $150 would void the pattern. Support levels to watch as potential downside objectives are at $144.50, $141.56, $138.97, $136.79. Resistance is at $147.37. The stock is the fourth largest component by weight in the Financial Select Sector (XLF).
Stocks are down and the dollar is only very marginally stronger from Asian and Euro trading. Also the Yen has hardly budged and the Euro/Yen is a little higher than yesterday.
So correlation isn’t 1:1 at least for the day. 🙂
And the comments link continue to drop me to the FOOTER(!) of your website.
I get the pep talk, I just don’t get the frogger video.
any thoughts on MWA at this level? (2.80)
And now for something completely different ;

looks like a blast….a tad costly…but cool
If Bill Miller made 48% in Q2 then I would be betting against him in Q3. He’s long what ? A bunch of financial stocks. Time to short FAS to zero.
BEHOLD. Market breaking down here. S&P 875 the all important level. Once we break below its off to the races for the bears.
