This is an unbelievably, comedic, sad, pathetic, riveting article. An instant classic, regarding the wonderful life and times of none other, Lenny Dykstra.

Citi out big on RIMM tonight:

Upgrade to Buy $100 Target and adding to Top Pick’s Live.

  2. Goldie says:

I get all my investment advice from Bill Buckner.

  3. Mushroomz says:

I read this article a couple nights ago. This guy talks like he grew up in the Bronx and never graduated elementary school. He calls his mom crying to ask for 23 grand so he can charter a jet out of Cleveland when his Gulfstream was impounded.

I mean take fucking coach you broke retard, don’t rob your family. Also, I wonder if he will ever sell that Gretsky house for 16 mill.

  4. j says:

man it’s riveting. When you think it can’t get any worse worse it does…Cramer liked his stock picks.

It’s a like s series of car accidents piled up one after the other.

It seems he must have used the ” you’ll get the money once I sell the Gretsky house” a hundred million times over.

  5. j says:

The fly is not god, Zombie. He may be godlike but he’s not god.

  6. Redshark says:

“It’s about living the dream, bro”

  7. John Kruk says:

Wow, that is a SPECTACULAR article on Dykstra! The article is VERY long and after a page or two you might be tempted to think that it can’t get any better — but it does. It just keeps getting better every page. “Sampras plays on this court dude!” FUCKING AWESOME!

  8. FucktardedPoliceman says:

He’s planning to pay everyone off with proceeds from all the lightbulbs he steals before the next owner moves in.

He’ll probably take all the toilet chains and cabinet knobs too, to make jewelery from.

Cramer is soiling his JoeBoxers imagining what kind of way-too-late public statement he’s going to have to issue when he finally divorces this athletard(TM).

  9. The Fly says:

I ALMOST was embarrassed for him reading it. He is so fucking stupid, it’s unbelievable.

The part where he and another scammer, former NFL player, partner up is classic. He thought he’d get them with his cashmere sweater.

  10. Buckeye Bob says:

I think we know why oil has crashed… everyone has stopped buying Lenny’s fuel

  11. Mr. Cain Thaler says:

A good find, to be sure. It makes sense that Cramer couldn’t spot the facade. That probably would have entailed a look in the mirror.

  12. arnoldsimage says:

goldman sachs put dykstra on their convicted buy list.

  13. DPeezy says:

That article indeed belongs on ESPN (Instant) Classic. Even better than the GQ one from a few weeks ago.

How does this man have ANY credibility left?? I find this simply baffling.

It takes talent to average 3 lawsuits/month for the last 6 months.

    What a douche, “dude”.

  14. Bad News Bears says:

This is an article I read about the guy a few weeks back…. Pretty good and detailed.

  15. j says:

Only in America which is why I love the place to death and never wanted to leave.

Only in America would you read about some dude calling his mom at three in the morn looking to borrow 23G off her credit card because his own are all maxed out and crying to her to let him hit her card to hire a fucking private jet.

    Only in a America.

    God I love the place.

  16. The Equalizer says:

    Asshat. Of. The. Month.

I spent my evening re-imaging a failed hard drive instead of doing my homework assignment.

Lesson 1: If it’s important, make a backup.

Lesson 2: Even when you do make a backup, unless you’re automating it on a nightly basis, you’re still gonna lose an evening or two getting things put back together just right.

Lesson 3: In a month full of asshattery, and with a week to go, I’m declaring now that this man, having spent a career in distilling the elixir of vapidity into a vile black ichor of concentrated ignorance, should — nay, must — be declared the Asshat of the Month.

  17. DPeezy says:

I second ‘The Equalizer’s notion for an immediate Asshat award for Dykstra. Long overdue, methinks.

    _____________

Nightly backups, indeud (yet another beloved ‘just works’ feature of the Mac). Plus, online redundant storage for the most important ones. A must.

    _____________

And +1 for teaching me a now word: ‘ichor’. Nice one.

  18. Small Fry says:

“I’m gonna get them with my cashmere, bro - gotta go make some money.”

Holy shit - that is my new motto - FOREVER.

  19. Beth says:

hmm, same same, but I have to say the PPT is quite impressive!

Fly, Please block my new addy - I just can’t help myself ;-)

  20. Bman says:

This is what happens when fully grown males, with the emotional capacity of a small child, wholeheartedly subscribe to someone else’s dreamed-up bullshit paradigm… hook, line and sinker.

Create your own paradigm. Fuck trying to impress others. What a waste of fucking time.

This is a non-story because it represents a culturally insignificant individual who contributed nothing tangibly worthwhile to the world around them.

  21. Razncane says:

    FREAKIN’ MANIPULATING, TRUTH HOLDING BASTARDS

How are they allowed to not reveal it all? EVERY OTHER PTC has to divulge. I demand the truth- even if I can’t handle the truth

    http://money.aol.com/article/banks-fret-over-stress-test-rules/439259

Reaction to Friday’s(Pre-stress test) announcement could help policy makers decide what the results announcement should reveal, Talbott said.

“They will release enough data to satisfy everyone to some degree,” he said, “but they have to try to minimize incorrect conclusions.”

  22. Tim says:

    Razncane –

Stress tests or not, the US dollar must fail and the US middle class must be obliterated, to make room for the NWO. The government will never tell the truth, ever, so stop sticking your ear to a bucket of tofu.

  23. the prof says:

Maw’s in the back room doing some voodoo on amazon so that we can at least get our money back.

  24. KeithHernandez says:

I told you Dykstra was a prick.

  25. mrkcbill says:

prof…next time maybe you should PLEDGE that money to Biafra on a yearly– based on P&L

  26. JakeGint says:

Mr. Cronkite, with words of wisdom:

The speculative mania always moves on to a new asset class. After the dot-com bubble popped, the speculative bubble moved on to housing. Now that the housing bubble has popped, the mania has moved to the bond market. When the bond bubble bursts (it’s guaranteed that it will in the next two years, losing 50% or more in the process) then the only asset class which hasn’t already been blown into a bubble is precious metals/gold.

In other words: those wishing to catch the next speculative mania should be buying gold and silver, not stocks, housing or bonds.

    Indeud!

    _______

  27. TraderCaddy says:

    Better yet.
Instead of making real time calls on the market (like Fly,Prof,DD, etc.) and hanging it out there just fake it and do arm chair quarterbacking like some of these posters do (you know who you are) and look like a hero after the fact.

  28. JakeGint says:

Take heart, bears. Mr. Obama is doing all he can to make sure Al Qu’aeda’s got a reason for living.

    __________

  29. jcvtwo says:

Looks like Lenny is not showing up at the Street.com’s website. Their options service is now Dr J. and not Lenny. Jon Najarian now writes the “deep in the money calls” newsletter.

No mention of “nails on the numbers.”

    A quiet ending.

  30. j says:

fly this guy is taking your exact picks and telling everybody he made them hes getting a lot of attention on twitter this guy doesnt no shit bro ive been following you for a while check it out http://twitter.com/kunal00

  31. this article was posted on another blog site a few days ago… nice rip off douchebag

  32. TraderCaddy says:

Jake- There are so many things Obama is affirmatively undertaking to destroy the security of this country and or our freedoms to curry favor with dictators it isn’t funny. Here is one not being reported much and it is sickening (I won’t even post the news story about the arms he wants to send to Hezbollah via Lebanon from Turkey).

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090422/ap_on_go_ot/us_iran_embassy_hostages

Here he is kissing Iran’s ass by hurting our own people held hostage by Iran in the late ’70s.

  33. guppyworldwide says:

Prof…tell me what I can do to help your effort.

Rain dance? I need some serious smackdown in th jungle

Short AMZN for a couple weeks now. Target $60.

PE of 50+. PEG ratio over 2….their profits need to double from here to justify the price.

  34. TheArtist says:

well, here we go again with the start of todays fuckery.

on Bloomberg just now, Geithner has received a copy of the “white paper” and also the heads of the banks today. they will not release them to the public until “later”

reading between the lines = “not until we have figured out how to manipulate these findings and re-write them to hide the truth”

    carry on.

  35. Razncane says:

Fuck the ACLU. They are ‘righting’ us right into destruction.

  36. JakeGint says:

this article was posted on another blog site a few days ago… nice rip off douchebag.

This lame attempt to get visitors to a cricket filled website has been tried a couple of times before as well.

    Still rather pathetic.

    _______

  37. TheArtist says:

also, like Jake wrote about, shippers like UPS and DSX and DRYS and FDX tell alot about the economy….less packages equals less activity between companies.
The president and Geithner can blab all they want with lies and fuckery about how better everything is getting, but the real tell tell signs are out there for anyone to research and see.

And all the female hosts at Bloomberg and CNBC are wet with excitment over the “release of the stress tests” as if it was the newest release of the latest pocket book by Coach…. check it out.

  38. gappingandyapping says:

BUCY! So soon F will be bought by the Ford family, that will surely piss off some people but who cares.

Ok so FAZ is on its way back to zero, fun fun. Where is DEVILDOG?

  39. the prof says:

    guppyworldwide

Not to worry, Maw’s got the situation under control.

  42. spartacus says:

Dykstra appears to be an unmitigated train wreck.

    The dude is finished.

  43. TraderCaddy says:

    Done for the AM.
    Thanks SMH short.

Watching NEM. If it doesn’t do it’s usual collapse GDX may be a good one to trade today.

  44. Cash-N-Guns says:

played golf with Dykstra 2 yrs ago..Outback-pro am….he is a complete dick…we were playing with Lanny Wadkins as our pro…Lanny told Dykstra he should take up fishing..

  45. T MOE says:

Microsoft is experiencing “the most difficult economic environment the company has faced in our history,” Chief Financial Officer Chris Liddell said on a conference call.

“I didn’t see any improvement at the end of the quarter that gives me encouragement that we’re at a bottom and we’re getting out of it,” Liddell said.

Microsoft also declined to offer much specific guidance for its current quarter, saying only that it expects to pull costs down because it has seen no clear sign of a coming economic turnaround.

And the Idiot bulltards bid the stock up higher. Why?

  46. Madison says:

The financials seem to be out of step with the indexs overall. Has my suspicions raised a bit that the market will start selling off here.

  47. PRICERUNNER says:

    Friday=trash day

  48. Daniel says:

Uncle Greed is visiting the Bulltards and he is so entertaining that they don’t even know they are about to take it up the cornhole. Hope the Bulltards can exist when the elevator enters another free fall.

  49. stockguy09 says:

Keep waiting/hoping/praying for a sell-off you beartards. Its comedic. The more you post here, the more I buy.

  50. TraderCaddy says:

Market is on shaky grounds here.
    Chips overall down,AAPL down,GS down,NASDAQ 100 under performing. It’s just oils,MSFT and some homies.

  51. TheArtist says:

    beware:
companies are onto the “game” now. They know that all they have to do is announce “guidance” for the rest of the year (knowing they have no clue what tomorrow brings) but they know that all they have to do is make up some rosie shit, just slightly better than horrible and the stock will shoot up.

companies new gig will be posting guidance, knowing if the shit goes south all they have to do is re do it lower. But the game now, you will start to see is a new fuckery lie of good guidance from lots of companies

they know this alone will pump their share price up, even though it’s bullshit.

    carry on.

  52. gappingandyapping says:

Wait a fucking minute here, didn’t I read the same thing a few weeks ago about one of his employees?

“Last month, though, on March 23, Dykstra picked up the phone and woke up his mother with a call at around 6 in the morning, according to Kevin Dykstra, his younger brother. Lenny was stranded in Cleveland. He wanted to charter a jet so he could get to a business meeting on the West Coast, and his credit cards were maxed out. He needed nearly $23,000 and asked his mother for it, Kevin says.”

Wasn’t that what the guy in NYC did too and his wife got pissed that he “loaned” it to him?

  53. TraderCaddy says:

    Apparently it’s Bulltards vs Beartards.

  55. gappingandyapping says:

    Bahahahaha

Dykstra says confidently, “Have I got a 12-inch c—, or what? Of course, it is all in place. It might not look like it, but everything I do is part of a plan.”

    Davey Johnson will verify.

  59. Daniel says:

This market is like Iron Mike Tyson, all strong, kicking ass, taking names, and he is the biggest name in sports. Then, everyone catches on that he is a total whack job and drop him like a walking AIDS victim that infects by the touch. I hear Dykstra has full blown AIDS too. Tyson vs. Dykstra, that would be pure capitalism.

  60. PRICERUNNER says:

FLY= GODFATHER complex trader. More info as time goes on!

  61. Anonymous says:

Gappy, Lenny’s credit card rates were doubled by BAC thus putting him over his limit and unable to purchase fuel, lap dances and cigarettes.

  84. gappingandyapping says:

Anyone take my advice on buying DXO at $2.48 a couple days ago?

  85. TheArtist says:

The Fed is rearranging the stress test results to their liking, when they get it all cooked they will then serve it.

the cooking is not yet done. They ran out of paper and erasers, had to send a secretary out to buy more, they’ll be done soon, hang in there.

you know it’s going to be wonderful, might as well load up on WFC and C and BAC and GS and JPM now, you know they will miraculously be “rosie” results.

  86. charlie says:

Dumbdog, the VIX is consolidating for another spike up to the 40s, once that happens then it’s time to get bearish.
