Right here, right now, I like [[GNK]], [[RFMD]], [[CROX]], [[ARUN]] and [[ALU]], just for shits and giggles.

I started buying CROX two days ago, as evidenced on PPT. It was triggered a “buy” two days ago, which prompted me to go long. Also, it came up on my custom short squeeze screen, also on PPT.
The fact that it is “sell” now is immaterial, since very soon it will be “buy” again. Remember, the embedded rec’s here are delayed, not real time.
As for my semis:
long rfmd in size is treating me just fine today. At any rate, this is not a spastic race to the finish. I bide my time.

leveraged etf’s are the devil, basically.
Brush — they are 3x ETF’s. That means they are recalibrated every trading day to reflect three times the movement in the underlying index or ETF.
Play around with the math on that, and you’ll get it. If losses are magnified three times, it’s always going to be harder to go up than down, right? Because 3x a smaller number (going up) is always going to be less of a move than three times a larger number (going down).
Sort of derivative of the derivative sorta stuff.
Short answer: shorting the shrift out of these suckers is a “not bad move,” especially if they’v run a bit, like FAZ had.
