Shine My Shoes

Give the market the benefit of the doubt, that it will go lower, not higher. Allow yourself, like the hideous pig masters that you are (that phrase has no meaning), to get short stocks, while accepting the notion that the market may rally until May.

Are you following me?

In other words, be open minded enough to accept a spring rally, but at the same time, be skeptical of it.

My position is to play the momentum, on both ends. As of now, I am long FAZ and SRS, with no longs. As you can see by the end of day prints, I was correct in buying them, yet again. I am not afraid of being short over the weekend, since all of the so called “good news” has been announced.

In other news, it appears Dylan Ratigan is leaving CNBC. Good for him. He was one of the very select few CNBC personalities that spoke the truth or possessed a modicum of intelligence, when spouting rhetoric on the teevee. Now Fast Money will sink, like the fucking Titanic, under the inept stewardship of Zach Karabell and “Taco Joe” Terranova.

In short, “The Fly” is back from his two week hiatus and will resume bowling on you clowns, while throwing jumping jacks at you—from the back of my 80’s style stretch limousine.

Ratigan is leaving? That’s the last time Maw and I will ever watch that show. Even when Melissa “Tweety Bird” Lee was there, I’d throw an old slipper at the fucking tube. Still like Macke and Finerman. Finerman started out utterly inept, must have had a brain transplant because she started making sense. If we aren’t watching that show, nobody will be. The very fact that they were airing Zach “the Middle Stooge” Karabell and Taco Joe “Deer in the Headlights” “Goldman’s is Best of Breed” Terranova was a sign the end was nigh.

Ratigan actually has a fucking brain and some semblance of outrage.

If fucking Obama had a brain in his head, he’d hire Ratigan. But something tells me Ratigan wouldn’t want to be front running the guy’s idiocy–like building up troops in Afghanistan while has the world is ready to riot or including the moronic assine insurers in national health insurance, let alone handing the hedgies a trillion dollars to play with.

Im out as of today. cycled my money back into treasuries. Ya I know. But this is my 401k and IRA money. Ill book my 10% two week gain.

I have one question? Does this bank bailout include toxic waste that’s coming in the form of Option arms resetting in the next two years. I have to think not, as I have not heard any mention of these. These too are deep in the red.

Maybe he’ll join Fox Business. Gotta love that Happy Hour w/ Cody “needs a haircut” Willard, Eric Bolling (The Admiral of Fast Money), and Rebecca “my pockets are getting tight, built like a brick shit house” Diamond. Also love that ex-CNBC’r hot tho’ older redhead Liz Claman. Alexis “brainless” Glick is also good for a bang, but dear God, put a muzzle on that double-bagger Dagen “face that can stop Big Ben in mid-bong” McDowell. To any of my detracters, it’s Friday dagnabit, the work week is over, it’s Miller time and I’m a bit horny, so sue me, you castrated bitches. 13. Market averages closed the week at about the Monday close level. The news about MtoM and the uptick rule is still ahead. It has only been about six months since the Lehman debacle ignited the market crash. Good tape readers, not necessarily the technical stuff type, recognize the strength here and it is just not common for a display of strength to be followed by equal weakness. If the bounce is over, it will probably be a slow fade and not a sudden 10% down.

Here’s a excerpt from an article in the “Cleveland Leader” regarding Ratigan:

The video tape of him ranting at a producer on commercial break also isn’t helping matters over at CNBC:
Don’t ask me to talk about every [bleep]ing e-mail that comes up on the screen. I’m not going to host a [bleep]ing TV show that consists of reading [bleep]ing e-mails to [bleep]ing traders,” shouted Ratigan.
He then accuses Krakower of never addressing his concerns in private:
“You know what, Susan, I’m in the middle of hosting a show right now, so now is an unwelcome time to hear your voice . . . If you want to pull me off the show, please do. You are] rude and disrespectful. . . . You lie to me routinely.”
Sadly, the video hasn’t yet been posted on YouTube. But as soon as it is, we’ll be sure to post it here.

I have said it before and it should be repeated that one condition of a bottom in the stock market will be when Cramer’s show is canceled. John Stewart beating him like a red headed stepchild is a good start but the show must be canceled. Animosity towards him and CNBC is definitely picking up

If this rally fails I think Obama and Cramer will feel the homo hammer come down on them. Investors have jumped back in as even my neighbor is acting like its 1999 again. Myself, I have a glorious day with my SONC win in the Tourney and an up down in my portfolio thanks to short HMC, ACC, GS and long SKF with SONC actually holding up well. Keep in mind I have been selling longs all week as I believe this is a 20% bear market rally.

    Needle bug the bug fucker…

This is From Peter Schiff’s book….

He says CPI is understated and inflation is actually sitting @ 10% – 14%+

“The inflated price of residential housing was never reflected in the CPI because instead of using home sales figures, the Dept. of Labor substitutes a figure called “owner equivalent rent. With people buying homes, the rental market of course, went into a slump. In the CPI, the index significantly understated the rate at which real estate prices were actually rising.

The federal Reserve uses monetary policy- that is, prints money- to finance entitlement programs, to manage debt, to stimulate phony economic growth, and to advance other agendas, thereby creating inflation and debasing the dollar without anybody knowing what’s really going on.
The motive for choosing to print money is purely political. The other way to do it would be to raise taxes, which would cause a public uproar costing elected officials their jobs. Not that the voters would stand for any reduction in social programs. The voters want it both ways, and the elected politicians have found a way to accomplish that.
An indication of how secret the Fed wants its money printing activities to be was revealed in 2006. The government had for years been releasing money supply figures, one category of which enabled period to period comparisons of money in circulation. Fearing knowledgeable analysts would use that information to determine the amount of inflation being created, the government announced that the category containing it, called M-3, would no longer be made public.

Sorry bout the long ass post…

  33. When the people realize that they can simply vote to loot the Treasury and pay themselves money, they will do it. If this whole Obama Plan was stopped now, the USA would rule the world. The US dollar would be King. The natural economic forces would continue to heal the situation and economic growth would return in less than a year while the rest of the world continued on the road to serfdom and inflation and socialism and bankruptcy and economic malaise and stagnation. I am afraid Vince is out with ShamWow – morals clause.

Consider the possibility of a pause or consolidation followed by another up leg …

Tony (OEW) has predicted this WaveB would be an abc-x-abc formation with five waves in each of the a’s and c’s and only three waves in each of the b waves. The x would be a “zigzag” or the consolidation. See the formation below … ignore dates and values as this is just for a look at the formation:

    http://www.elliott-today.com/images/charto5.gif

Currently we have had an ab and partial c of this first leg up. Wave c again will have five legs and so far (as you can see from below) we have achieved waves 1 and 2 with 3 still in the works or having been made at 833spx. More time is needed to confirm 3 is done but if so today’s sell off could very well be the start of wave 4 down to be followed by one more wave up to five around the 840 or even the 870 spx level.

    http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/Favorites.CServlet?obj=ID1606987

Then we’d have the consolidation zigzag (good time for a southern getaway) which could be a bear trap for the final abc leg up to 1100 for a 50% retracement.

If that happens, Danny will eat these words:

  36. Maybe I’m wrong, but, The “goal” is to keep inflation around 3-4%. That being said…

Access to credit was EASY! Home ownership was on the rise, consumer spending was on the rise(consumer debt hit a historical high) and the fed rate was kept fairly low. How was inflation at 3-4%(give or take)???

The numbers are a big fucking joke!!
