On one hand, banks are severely oversold.
Oversold is only an illusion. The UYG is currently far from being technically oversold. Even GS isn’t even oversold, although it’s close enough that another down day might bring it into that territory. It doesn’t mean the banks don’t trade higher from here, there is no law that says everything must go oversold before going up, but it doesn’t make me comfortable buying right here. The banks are still in a dangerous position to have another shot down.
