I think it was expected to happen. I think Stocktwits should be more aggressive and welcoming with its users, otherwise the friendly folks from Twitter will eat their lunch.
Guess I’m trying to figure out why I should give a damn about this.
I think Twitter realizes traders value the timeliness of news via a stream and want to provide additional ways to filter tweets.
Then they can inject promoted tweets in said streams.
