Cronkite, I have been a faithful follower of the fly and his site for almost three years now. I enjoy all of the insight, humor, and news. I am also a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. With all of the misinformation that is often spoken or written about the church or its members I would respectfully request that you clarify any future headlines that you post about the LDS or mormon church or its members. When I first read your headline my first impression was that it had to do with the church itself. The article clarifies that it was simply a couple guys in Utah that schemed other people in Utah and did so abusing that trust that many people often share because of a similar faith or interest. Unfortunately, this type of thing often happens within groups that share common beliefs and therefore are more easily persuaded to invest in bogus scams. I’m quite sure it happens among people that attend the same Rotary Club, or that go to the same Country Club. Romney should not have an opinion on it because it has nothing to do with him. I do not sense any malintent on your part to defame the LDS church or its faithful members, I simply request that in the future you clarify a post such as this one to read something like “Mormon businessmen use guise of similar faith to ponzi scheme other mormons”, after all, isn’t that what really happened?
Respectfully, Danny
I am not Mormon. I have worked with and known several Mormons. These are some of the wisest, smartest people I have ever known, and that’s saying something because I have travelled and lived around the world.
The Mormons are clued into the central bankers and have been working to minimize central banker influence on the Mormon community. For this reason, central banker-controlled media works 24/7 to badmouth the Mormon religion.
Central bankers use their media to “educate” people against whoever challenges the central bankers. They have done this to more groups than just the Mormons.
Their legal defense will be god told them to do it in a book only they know exists and only they can read. Then they can probably keep that money tax free to boot.

Sounds like someone’s magic underwear got wedged up their crack today.
