0bama should find some nice way of telling everyone, “that’s enough, you’ve made your point. now everyone go on home.” Some appropriate leadership would be appropriate.

Wouldn’t appropriate leadership in a democracy be acknowledging the voice of the MANY verses the people who put money in your pocket?

Obama LOVES the distraction away from his unpopularity and diverting the blame. He practically started this movement complaining about the corporate jet owners during the budget talks.

Yes clearly Obama is behind the movement. Unemployment, inflation, poverty, massive inequality, and blatant criminality amongst the oligarchy are all just scape goats.

Additionally, diverting the blame is misleading as it was not his fault he inherited a massive structural mess. Granted he didn’t fix it or even make a serious attempt, but neither has any other politician in the last 30 years.

When I said “he practically started it” I was exaggerating obviously.

Since when does anyone other than a 3rd world country resort to class warfare though?

Plus, the corporate jet tax he proposed would cover a couple billion which would have been 1000 times short of the 1.3 trillion needed to be cut. Don’t think he cares what anyone thinks unless it effects his poll numbers or his own interests. My point is he loves the distraction away from his poll numbers so of course he’s not going to do anything one way or another to jeopardize that movement. If he really cared about liberty and the crap he pretends to why wouldn’t he send military personnel to protect the first amendment when it was reported that police were spraying and getting violent with supporters. Oh yeah, JP morgan gave the police force (NYPD) the largest donation in history and they also sent campaign contributions Obama’s way.

Please stop fucking calling it class warfare. The top “class” is the top 20%, we are talking about the top 1%. Educate yourself and stop using buzz words from the Boob tube.

Additionally, asking the wealthiest and most able to Americans to pony up a little more (so little that it would not affect standard of life at all) isn’t class warfare its called “the social fabric.” Maybe you have heard of it?

A bipartisan committee is pushing a proposal to fire 100,000 postal workers to save 8bn dollars annually. You could raise that by taxing the richest 50 people and they would think it was a rounding error. But please, keep saying taxes kill jobs.

so long as the protesters do not disrupt commerce then they should be allowed to protest for as long as they want.
once in a while it is okay to apply for permits where the purpose is to disrupt business activity.
otherwise protests should be non violent and non destructive to property.

Don’t you think 0bama should create an elaborate attention getting display of putting the troops who just came home from iraq right in the middle of the policemen and protesters to defend the “first amendment”? Lol, sounds like it would be right up his alley!
