This was an interesting study done on electronic trading. It is getting harder to trade off one minute charts since volumer burst may not actually be occurring in real time.

This is exactly why you should rely on the level 2 and T&S when day trading and not the 1 minute chart.
that is what i do. but i know many traders who only look for set ups on the one day charts.
