STILL CHINESE

I bought nefarious car rental agency, EHIC, despite 30% of the Shanghai composite not trading for the past week–because the mood was dour. I am in it for the win, Chinese style, executing the ‘iron lotus’ upon my enemies.

Cleaning Up the Old Portfolio

I sold out of SEM and CMCM, one for a small loss, the other for a large win.

For the past hour, I’ve tried to find some place for the proceeds. I cannot.

I am stuck in the amber of indecision. With the market already up 200 and everyone circle jerking about the NASDAQ exchange, I think it’s best if I’d refrain from adding into the tape. The prudent move is to lock in gains, clean out the losers, and ride your good stocks forward.

As you know, “The Fly” is a person of extreme prudence and decorum.

DEAL OR NO DEAL?

It’s very nice to see futures up the way they are. However, need I remind you there is a July 20th bond payment due in Greece and they’ve yet to pass this deal through parliament and the EU has yet to loan them a shilling? I didn’t think so.

It’s very possible that the whole deal falls apart and markets go right back down the toilet bowl.

Or, it’s entirely possible that a deal does get done and the shorts go down the toilet bowl.

These are the choices you have to make before allocating resources to the market. It’s what makes a market.

Personally, I’ve been amused by the Chinese stock market, immensely. Those crazy bastards are full tilt, coked out and strung out– long shit. None of their companies have reliable audited results. It’s a game of smoke and trap doors, amidst shadows and funhouse mirrors–complete and utter shit. Having said that, I hope my CMCM does well today.

ANAC is through the roof because of positive data. This goes to show you, no matter how expensive biotech gets, it can always get a little crazier. We are living during a time of technological breakthrough in both engineering and science. You’d be remiss if you didn’t own at least one biotech pinless hand grenade. Right now my frag weapon of choice is ONCE.

Let’s see how this fucker opens and let’s try to refrain from pre-mature celebratory champagne openings into the faces of bears.

Saturday Cinema with Le Fly: Letters From Iwo Jima

Twin movies made by Clint Eastwood, Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima, are hands down the best two world war 2 films next to Saving Private Ryan. In this film, the Japanese perspective of Iwo Jima is examined.

Wars aren’t always fought between heroic Americans and savage creatures from black lagoons. On the other side of the battle, there are human beings with emotions and families and this movie hits it out of the ballpark.

REPORT CARD TIME, SON

Everyone always asks me, flippantly “how does Exodus do during down markets?”

After I blow my pipe smoke into their eyes, I tell them “our track record is untarnished, a citadel (extra Bernanke) of greatness, a stone forest in a sea of rabble rousers, the truth amidst liars–a sublime harmony of mathematical precision (SHOMP).

Do yourselves a favour and join our ranks.

Exodus

I’ll see you tomorrow when I review another male oriented war film.

Shorts Crawl Back into Their Respective Holes

I guess they didn’t know their history. Greece is saved. The Nazis have been kicked back into the pandora box and the world is happy again.

Stocks are higher and the biotech business is swirling with rumors, innuendo and crushing the helmets and then skulls of millions of short sellers.

From their volcano base in Hawaii, short sellers are throwing themselves into the active magma–depressed over the specter that the world isn’t ending yet.

The Apple computer corporation, led by its gay CEO–Tim “balls” Cook–are leading the way higher today, trailblazing a raninbow’d path of greatness, leaving evil hedge fund managers who bought puts on him yesterday in tatters.

All of this great things, AND MORE, are happening on this Friday, July 10th, 2015.

America is the Best

Don’t pay attention to the horse dung that was written in the previous blog. Real Americans love a good short squeeze, always have and always will. We love the sting of battle, the feeling of supremacy over those short selling bastards.

SHORT SELLERS ARE THE ENEMY.

Weight into the them. Use their guts to grease the treads of your tanks!

I almost feel bad for people like Zerohedge and Bluestar. We’re gonna kill them by the bushel. We’re gonna murder those son of a bitches!

I understand that some of you are scared of the market. That’s normal. It means you’re alive. I have faith that after you see some of your neighbors’ and friends’ accounts at zero, all because of some god damned short sellers, you’ll know what to do.

That’s all that I have to say for now.

Dismissed.

General Le Fly.

America Sucks

Everyone in the comments section should shut up.

Let us be clear. America’s stock market blows. All other nations are outperforming us this year. Even during the midst of a euro-crisis, Europe is still out pacing us. It’s time to revoke your American citizenship and become a citizen of the world.

I am rather emphatic about this point, all things considered. I’ve been blessed with a superior intellect, which is why I am outperforming all of you. However, the regular Joe, loafing about the coffee cart, is having his face punched in and ripped off in 2015. This is not a market for old men.

The once proud corporation of Apple, led by super-homo Tim Cook, is being liquidated, hopefully by some sovereign wealth fund going bust. It’s a funny thing, large asset managers. Whenever there is destruction in an asset class (e.g. oil, chinese stocks, copper, aluminum etc.) someone gets taken to the woodshed and cleaned the fuck out. The misnomer about these draw-downs is that the managers were stupid. Come on, now. It’s merely a matter of being at the wrong place at the wrong time, on many occasions.

I’ve known plenty of super smart people who’ve lost fortunes in the market, all because they had the right idea at the wrong time. Back in 2000, I was short some fucker of an internet stock that went from $80 to $250 on me, forcing me to cover and absorb heinous losses–only to see it later at $0.

For the day, I was up 1.02%, thanks to CYBR and CMCM. I have about 10% in cash.
