It appears the moon, earth and all of the galaxies in the universe are working against the defined interests of a certain bearded clam— to bring the markets lower. Today’s tape has a certain nagging feel to it, not so much different than your wife pestering you to complete a chore while the game is on.
I am down slightly on the day and loathe the fact that I may close out the day a loser, despite my AGU sprinting higher. However, I’ve been a bit spoiled with regards to this market, so I really don’t mind donating some of my coin to those of you (bearshitters) that need it most.
Do not spazz out, fucktards of the internet. Every once in awhile the market trades down. Into the final hour of trade, I intend to add to a few positions.

After Ryan gets through with Bernanke then it’s Paul’s turn. They will tag team his ass, banging folding steel chairs over his head until he collapses in a heap. Then it’s Geithner, Holder and Napolitano. They all may as well rent a room at the Omni, it has a tube out front so they can shuttle to the capital every day… This is just the beginning….
It’s not going to be all that. The repubs only have the house. If they get too carried away with themselves they will only make themselves look bad. I’m hoping for a measured, cautious approach.
(laughter) to some degree here, the fact that Republicans only have the house is more grounds for them to go extreme with this. Not only can they effectively get the cuts they want over the entire government by bringing just the one chamber to a standstill, but they prbably wouldn’t get blamed for it. And, they would make the Democratic Party, holding two thirds of the system, look pathetic and weak.
I wouldn’t be surprised if in bringing the entire government to a standstill, blame for that action were laid squarely at Obama’s feet. In fact, the last time Republicans did such a thing, during the Clinton years, they were rewarded with control of Congress for over a decade.
And if Obama fails to gain retribution, like Clinton did, (and provided Republicans can even find a strong candidate, which doesn’t look promising) they may take the presidency.
Although, between you and I, the thought of Republicans holding the country undisputed again scares even me. I’m conservative, but I’m not stupid…
Without Obamagone, there will be no Obamacare gone.

Bank guy I’m talking to says 6 of 10 retail positions (their clients) in EUR/USD are shorts and 80% plus are below market price (negative p&l) – 90% of short positions are about evenly distributed from 3500 to 3700.
Heavy stops are building not too far above from 3740 through 3755 with more at 3765.
Smells like potential upside…
